What is The Freelancer Club? The Freelancer Club was started by Matt Dowling and Nina Malone, a photographer and model respectively, each of whom battled the freelance world and won (just). After learning the hard way through trials and tribulations, the pair recognised the lack of business and personal support for creative freelancers so they did something about it. Freelancers can join the club to promote their services, access paid jobs, speak to mentors, attend cutting-edge networking events or masterclasses and receive the support every business needs to succeed. The club also runs socially aware campaigns and frequently talks at some of the countries top creative universities and schools.

[Alternative] Revolution First a quick admission. We don’t do ‘normal’ very well! In fact, we go out of our way to do the exact opposite. Alternative thinking for alternative people. Our industry masterclasses and networking events provide brands with a unique platform to access the cream of creative, connected entrepreneurs in the UK. Our events are memorable experiences that facilitate lasting business relationships in a creative world and cause wide spread social chatter amongst the Twitteratti elite. See what we’ve got coming up (page 6).
Whether it’s Peep Show, an Open Top Bus tour or industry experts imparting wisdom, Freelancer Club Events are rarely boring. Check out what our community thinks.
So, what can The Freelancer Club do for my Brand? When we’re not setting up Masterclasses, we speak to our creative audience via blog articles, weekly newsletters, internal messages and all social media platforms. Our approach is often very visual and we love to engage with our members in creative ways through on and offline campaigns. We’ve been fortunate enough to partner with some highly-respected brands on very exciting projects, from fashion shoots for Vivienne Westwood, live Twitter campaigns for NYX to chauffeuring our members to events courtesy of UBER. We love working closely with startups, SMEs and big brands to offer unique creative and thought provoking marketing solutions to suit their needs and connect with our alternative, cool and connected London entrepreneurs.
