Obituaries

Hunt, Gary, 74, of St. Petersburg, passed away on February 26 at Woodside in Pinellas Park. He came to Gulfport via his native Buffalo, NY in the early 2000s after concluding the bay area offered a combination of art, culture and amenities that would serve him the rest of his days. He’s sorely missed by his friends, neighbors and dog Charlie; he wrote his own epitaph last summer, as perhaps many did while pondering their mortality in 2020: “He loved Pad Thai.”
