Gulfport Thanksgiving Week Changes

Gulfport City Hall and facilities will close for Thanksgiving, November 26 and 27. The city will collect Thursday’s sanitation routes Wednesday, November 25; Friday’s routes will remain on schedule. The city will not collect yard waste for the week. Call 727-582-6177 for more information, or after-hours water or sewer emergencies.

Operation Santa Needs Little Helpers

For 29 years, Gulfport Police Department employees have sponsored “Operation Santa” to give toys to needy children in Gulfport. Operation Santa is successful in part due to the contributions from residents. This year they want help in the form of monetary donations, new unwrapped toys, and gift cards. It’s been a particularly challenging

year for some families and your thoughtfulness will make their holiday. Call 727-893-1097 and leave a message.

Craft Show Seeks Vendors

Calling all crafters and local artisans: The Gulfport Lions Club is planning a craft show on Saturday, December 12 and want more vendors. They have 20 eight-foot tables available for $45 each. South Pasadena Commission Wants You

Do you have what it takes to be on the South Pasadena Commission? South Pasadena’s municipal election is Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Voters will pick two commissioners to serve four-year terms. Qualifying ends on Monday, November 16. Candidates must have lived in the city for at least a year.
