LEADERSHIP, CRISIS & CONFLICT MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME Head of Programme MAIN FOCUS The Leadership, Crisis and Conflict Management Programme is focused on three core issues: • Leadership and strategy in foreign and security policy; • Crisis management and decision making; and • Sustainable conflict resolution (including peacebuilding).
HIGHLIGHTS FOR 2015 • Master of Advanced Studies in International and European Security, run by the GCSP and the Global Studies Institute of the University of Geneva, which has been granted accreditation by the Swiss University Conference • 3rd edition of a training course on ‘International Relations, Governance and Public Participation’ Myanmar • Executive course on ‘Crisis Decision-Making in Foreign and Security Policy’
PROGRAMME TOOLKIT To address these issues, the programme engages in three main activities: • Delivering high-quality courses for government officials, diplomats, military officers, international civil servants, NGOs and private sector actors; • Promoting dialogue and exchange, including 1.5 and 2nd track events and public meetings; • Generating new ideas, policyrelevant research and strategic analysis.

Dr Carl Ungerer Former Senior Adviser to the Australian Foreign Minister and Adjunct Associate Professor in International Relations at Bond University. Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Queensland. M.A. in Asian Studies from Griffith University.
