REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME MAIN PURPOSE The programme seeks to enhance the ability of national and regional, state and non-state institutions to understand and operate globally in a fast-changing security environment.
PROGRAMME TOOLKIT To address these issues, the programme engages in three distinct yet complementary areas of work: • Education and training for government officials, diplomats, military officers, international civil servants, NGO staff, as well as for private sector representatives • Dialogue and outreach activities, including track 1.5 events • Policy-relevant research and analysis

Col (GS) Christian Bühlmann Seconded from the Swiss Armed Forces. Former Senior Advisor to the Chief of Swiss Armed Forces. MSc in Computer Sciences from École Polytechnique Fédérale in Lausanne, MA in International Studies from King’s College in London and graduate of the Swiss Military Academy.
