The first edition of the International Course in Securing Political Transitions examines the multifaceted challenges and complex tasks associated with the process of political transition and its shortand long-term implications for the domestic, regional and international security environment. The aim is to equip participants with both the conceptual and practical tools for understanding the nature of transitions and addressing efficiently the challenges they raise.

Faculty profiles The course teaching staff includes GCSP’s international faculty composed of academic and practitioners with broad experience in international affairs, security policy, diplomacy and military affairs, as well as high-level international guestspeakers from civil society, government, academia and international organisations.
