This issue also highlights the Brookings Institute's interest in manufacturing jobs for Newark Veterans, a WWII vet getting his dog tags back after 69 years, and GI Go Executive Director Jack Fanous receiving the Russ Berrie Award for Making a Difference and giving his $25,000 prize to help veterans coming home and those affected by Superstorm Sandy.
