Widening Participation

How to get Involved Step 1

Check to see if you meet any of our eligibility criteria from the list below.

The Widening Participation team works with S4-S6 pupils from state secondary schools in Scotland who meet one or more of the following criteria*:

live in a priority postcode are care experienced are a young carer are estranged from their parents or legal guardians are a refugee or seeking asylum in the UK are a young Black person or young Person of Colour (BPOC) live in a very rural or island community across Scotland are eligible for FOCUS West support * Please note, supporting evidence may be requested to verify eligibilty. Definitions of our eligibilty criteria are available on our website.

Step 2

Register with Widening Participation by completing our online registration form.

Click HERE to fill out our short online registration form, or scan the QR code. You will receive a confirmation email when your completed registration form has been submitted.

Step 3

Begin receiving emails when we are taking bookings for activities.

Once you have registered with us you will receive emails from us about portfolio courses, special events and application support, and be able to book places on the activities you want to attend.

Step 4

Book a place on an activity and then take part!

We will ask you to fill out one more online form before you take part on an activity so that we have all the information we need in order to ensure an inclusive and safe learning environment for everyone.
