APRIL SUTTON: DIPLOMATS AT PORSCHE

As diplomats took to the podium, one by one, to receive well-deserved awards, their acceptance speeches echoed with gratitude and commitment, creating a powerful sense of camaraderie in the room.

Ambassador Sutton's list of this year’s Honorees included Mr. Mohammed Alfawzan Vice Consul of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Franko Zimmerli Vice Consul of Switzerland, Mrs. Marcel Greenage Government Representative from Barbados, Mr. Ted Omolo of The Consul General of Kenya, and Humanitarian Honoree from Italy Ms. Macaela Passeri.

The decision to host the event in Downtown LA was inspired by long-time friend and contributor, Dennis L. Smith proud owner and operator of Rome Nightlife and Entertainment Venue in Downtown, slated to open in September 2024.

With the gala, Smith continues his commitment in bringing class and culture to downtown Los Angeles.

Sponsors included Langer’s Juice, Vuelo Tequila, with catering by Chef Ray, interior design provided by Adam Zouaoui and live musical performances from Emile.

Special thanks to General Manager of Porsche Downtown Los Angeles for graciously opening his showroom to host this year’s 15th Annual Diplomats Diversi-TEA Gala.
