This charming town, with its beautiful views offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Explore Newburg's quaint streets, discover local seafood delicacies, and enjoy the natural beauty of the Potomac River. This quiet resort like property has ample space, land as well as a beautiful inground pool and everything you need for the whole group to feel right at home. Whether you decide to venture outward, or stay home- you’ll have everything you need to enjoy your stay.

NO SMOKING Smoking is ONLY permitted in designated smoking area and cigarette butts are to be properly disposed.

Please also keep in mind: Please do not block the garage doors. There is ample parking provided on the side of the house and it is suitable for large vehicles. We ask that you keep the circle area open for traffic and access for the grounds keepers to get to the equipment in the garage. You are welcome to use the fridge and pantry to store any food or other consumables. Please throw away any perishable items before the end of your stay. Please acknowledge that the fridge and pantry may contain spices/food or consumables that guests are welcome to eat. However, it is the guests’ responsibility to inspect these items before consuming and the host is not responsible for any illness or adverse response that might occur. I live in the area and do come to take care of the land periodically. So it is possible that I may be present on the property at times.

Pool

INSTRUCTIONS We hope you enjoy our refreshing relaxing saltwater pool and backyard oasis! Pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Pool depth ranges from 3 feet to 9 feet. Pool is equipped with night time colored lights that will need to be turned on manually. The switch is on the wall by the pool pump area / below the electrical box. It is a light switch in a plastic clear cover. Just turn on and off. *Please do not touch any of the other valves and or equipment as it is all set on timers and will operate automatically.*

The pool house has a blue tooth stereo in the closet. USE THE REMOTE on top of it TO TURN POWER ON. Bluetooth is “Yamaha”. Connect and enjoy your favorite music from your phone. Rafts and pool toys etc are in pool house. Clean pool towels will be provided in the upstairs linen closet of the main house. One per guest per stay. Guest agrees to Swim at your own risk and monitor all persons who are in and around the pool at all times.

La Plata The downtown section of La Plata features a collection of shops, restaurants, and local businesses that are relatively close to each other, making it great to enjoy a leisurely stroll through town. There are often community events, including festivals and markets, that encourage you to explore!

Leonardtown is famous for the national oyster-shucking championship that is held at the St. Mary's County fairgrounds every year!
