As a not-for-profit organization, we rely on tax-deductible donations to maintain our historic theatre, underwrite our school and community engagement programs, provide need-based conservatory scholarships, and even support our mainstage season–ticket sales only cover a portion of the cost for these activities. Worcester Center for the Performing Arts, a registered not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, owns and operates The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
DIRECT YOUR SUPPORT Please let us know where you would like to direct your support by choosing from the THT funds below; In appreciation, you will receive membership benefits for your generosity to our nonprofit organization! The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory Fund provides unrestricted support for theatre operations, maintenance & education programs. This fund, which provides us with the most flexibility, is where membership donations have historically been made. Access to the Arts provides support for arts education program accessibility across central Massachusetts. Through this fund, we are able to provide student matinees, conservatory scholarships and more. The Hanover Theatre Repertory (THT Rep) Fund provides support for our initiative to create great theatre in and for Worcester. Donations made to this fund will support theatrical works produced and performed right in the city.
The Wurlitzer Organ Fund provides support for the maintenance of New England’s largest Mighty Wurlitzer Organ. This historic organ provides the soundtrack to our silent films, A Christmas Carol and more.
