Our Matinee Series serves curriculum standards in English language arts, social studies, science and social emotional learning for all age groups that will enhance and expand what is being learned in the classroom.
We offer student matinees, STEAM workshops and teacher resources throughout the school year.
To book your school group, please call 508.471.1793.
Q. How do I buy group tickets?
A. It is so easy! To book your group, call 508.471.1689 or email groupsales@thehanovertheatre.org at your earliest convenience. Please have your contact info, the name of the show that you are interested in (including day, date and time) and the potential number of people in your group. We will get back to you with the availability on your preferred show(s).
Q. How many people must a group have to be eligible for the discounted group rate?
A. Groups must have a minimum of 10 people attending a select show and performance time. Discounts may vary based on individual shows.
Q. When must a group pay for tickets?
A. We allow flexibility in reserving a set number of seats, but the final count and final payment is due 30 days prior to date of performance. Any group order placed within 30 days of the performance or show date requires full payment at time of order.
Q. What types of payment do you accept?
A. The Hanover Theatre accepts payments in the form of a check, money order or a valid major credit card. Personal checks are not allowed for group payment less than 15 days before the performance.
Q. If I want to add people to my group, am I allowed to increase my number of tickets?
A. Yes, the number of tickets may be increased or decreased prior to final payment. These are subject to availability and may not be added after final payment. If required minimum number of tickets is not met, then the discount will not apply and tickets will revert to full price. Group tickets may not be exchanged for another performance and are non-refundable.
Q. Are there any handling fees with group tickets?
A. There is a $1 per ticket handling fee included in the ticket price, which is much less than the $8-$12 fees typically charged when buying single full price tickets.
