CLASSES FOR CHILDREN TEENS ADULTS TheHanoverTheatre.org/conservatory
Welcome
In January, we will celebrate the conservatory’s third anniversary. There is so much to be thankful for this time of year, but today I am grateful for the many students and faculty who have shared in this journey. It is hard to believe that in such a short time, we went from just a dozen classes in that first semester to nearly a hundred today. With both a Youth Acting Company and a Youth Ballet Company, we continue to offer new performance opportunities for our student body. We are amazed by the passion and dedication of so many students, young and old, who spend hours in our studios every week. I hope you’ll consider gifting yourself or someone you love with a new experience as we enter the new year. The arts give us the opportunity to ignite the creativity within and inspire confidence in ourselves and others. When we give ourselves over to the creative process, we get out of our head and allow ourselves to forget the demands of our everyday lives. Perhaps the greatest gift we receive through this process is the meaningful connections we make with those around us.

Nick Ranauro from the national tour of Phantom of the Opera leads a dance master class.
Master Classes
As a benefit of enrolling at the conservatory, students receive exclusive access to master classes with visiting artists. Please check our website for details regarding possible master classes with the following national touring Broadway productions and more in our 2019-2020 season.
Students and parents (when applicable) must agree to The Hanover Theatre Conservatory (THTC) policies and procedures in order to enroll in a class. A complete list can be found at TheHanoverTheatre.org/conservatory. The policies found below are not a complete list.
Payments
Payment may be made in full at the time of registration, or in monthly installments. Tuition is non-refundable. If the student withdraws or is dismissed from class, installment charges will continue until the full tuition balance is paid. Late or declined payments will incur an additional $20 service fee per month. If tuition is not settled by the end of the semester, students will not be permitted to perform in any end of semester performances.
Withdrawals & Refunds
THTC has a final sale policy for all ticket purchases, tuition payments and fees. No refunds are issued for missed classes, schedule changes, class transfers, student withdrawals or students under disciplinary action. Requests to transfer or withdraw from classes due to extenuating circumstances must be submitted in writing to the conservatory for review and consideration of revised enrollment or pro-rated tuition credits. Approved tuition credits are not guaranteed and may be used for future classes only. Tuition credits cannot be used for tickets or other merchandise. Tuition credits expire if not used by the end of the following semester.
Cancellations & Makeup Classes
Every effort is made to operate classes on regularly scheduled days and times in order to avoid cancellations. Cancellations due to weather will be listed on the homepage at TheHanoverTheatre.org. A maximum of
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory March 3-8, 2020 Bandstand March 19-22, 2020 An American in Paris April 23-26, 2020 Miss Saigon May 27-31, 2020 two weather-related cancellations will be made up per course. Classes cancelled by THTC for other reasons will be rescheduled without limitation. If students are unable to attend the makeup date, special arrangements can be made with administration to attend another group class in that same semester. THTC reserves the right to assign substitute teachers for group or private lessons without advance notification to parents and students.
Attendance and Tardiness
Consistent attendance is crucial to the learning process. Please notify the security desk at 508.831.0800 ext 1900 to advise us of absences or tardiness. Tardiness is very disruptive to class, so please make every effort to be on time. No more than two unexcused absences will be permitted. Students should carefully review their schedules with parents before registering.
