“Divinely, dangerously decadent.”

Welcome to the infamous Kit Kat Klub, where the Emcee, Sally Bowles and a raucous ensemble take the stage nightly to tantalize the crowd and to leave their troubles outside. But as life in pre-WWII Germany grows more and more uncertain, will the decadent allure of Berlin nightlife be enough to get them through their dangerous times? Come hear some of the most memorable songs in theatre history, including “Cabaret,” “Willkommen” and “Maybe This Time.” Leave your troubles outside, life is beautiful at Cabaret, John Kander, Fred Ebb and Joe Masteroff’s Tony®Award-winning musical about following your heart while the world loses its way.

Set in the ‘90s – the 1590s, this hilarious smash tells the story of Nick and Nigel Bottom, two brothers who are desperate to write their own hit play while the “rock star” Shakespeare keeps getting all the hits. When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first MUSICAL! The New York Post calls Something Rotten! “a big, fat hit!” and the Associated Press finds it “fresh, irreverent and hysterical!”

“The most exciting musical Broadway has seen in years.” – Chicago Tribune
Go behind the music and inside the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons in the Tony® Award-winning true-life musical phenomenon, Jersey Boys. They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard… and the radio just couldn’t get enough. But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story, a story that has made them an international sensation all over again. Jersey Boys features the legendary hits “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like A Man” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.” Generously sponsored by Cornerstone Bank and Reliant Medical Group.

In 1996, an original rock musical by a little-known composer opened on Broadway… and forever changed the landscape of American theatre. Now, this Pulitzer Prize and Tony® Award-winning masterpiece returns to the stage in a vibrant 20th anniversary touring production. A re-imagining of Puccini’s La Bohème, RENT follows an unforgettable year in the lives of seven artists struggling to follow their dreams without selling out. With its inspiring message of joy and hope in the face of fear, this timeless celebration of friendship and creativity reminds us to measure our lives with the only thing that truly matters . . . love. “Something wonderful indeed. The King and I is a five-handkerchief masterpiece.” – The New York Times To book your group, call Daniella Marie at 508.471.1763 or daniella@thehanovertheatre.org.
Two worlds collide in the Lincoln Center Theater production of this “breathtaking and exquisite” (The New York Times) musical, directed by Bartlett Sher, a College of the Holy Cross graduate. One of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s finest works, The King and I boasts a score that features such beloved classics as “Getting To Know You”, “I Whistle a Happy Tune”, “Hello Young Lovers”, “Shall We Dance” and “Something Wonderful”. Set in Bankok in the 1860s, the musical tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and Anna Leonowens, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist King, in an imperialistic world, brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children. Winner of the 2015 Tony® Award for Best Musical Revival, The King and I is “too beautiful to miss”- New York Magazine. Generously sponsored by Webster Five.

THEATRE POLICIES & OTHER HELPFUL INFORMATION The following is presented to inform our patrons and to maintain an orderly and thriving theatrical environment and experience. These policies notwithstanding, management always strive to be fair, ethical and understanding of our patrons’ needs. For answers to frequently asked questions visit TheHanoverTheatre.org/faq. Booking Protect: You can protect your investment by participating in Booking Protect, a new ticket insurance option. You can choose to select Booking Protect as an add-on before finalizing your transaction. Booking Protect is only available at the time of purchase and allows you to receive a full refund of the purchase price should you or anyone in your party be unable to attend due to injury, illness, adverse weather conditions and more. Accessible Seating: The Hanover Theatre is committed to providing access and an enjoyable visit to persons of different abilities. Spaces are reserved for patrons who use wheelchairs and for their ambulatory companions. When purchasing tickets, please be sure to mention if any special accommodations are required, including low vision, hard of hearing, limited mobility, etc. It is the intent of the theatre to comply with all ADA provisions where practical. Box Office Hours of Operation: (in person and by telephone) Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm; Sunday (if there is a performance), noon until 30 minutes after curtain on performance evenings. So that we may best serve patrons attending each event, please avoid visiting the box office to purchase tickets to future events during the hour just prior to curtain time. Assistive Listening Devices: Devices are available from the house manager. Please inquire at the box office or ask an usher. These cannot be reserved in advance, but the number of devices available should be sufficient for the usual demand. You will be asked to leave your driver’s license as a deposit when borrowing an assistive listening device. Cameras (Recording Devices): Our standard policy is that all such devices are prohibited from use in the theatre, and offenders may be ejected without compensation. On rare occasions, specific performers or engagements may request that this policy be suspended, in which case we will advise patrons by covering lobby signage which lists the standard policy. Cell Phones: Out of respect to the performers and to fellow audience members, please remember to silence all cell phones while in the theatre.
30
Children: All patrons MUST have a valid ticket. Parents are discouraged from bringing children under 5 years of age to performances which are not specifically oriented to children. Parents must remove any disruptive children from the theatre into the lobby. For these reasons, and for the comfort of all audience members, please consider carefully whether it is appropriate for you to bring children under 5 to the theatre. Concessions: Please do not bring outside food or drinks to the theatre. Snacks and beverages will be available for sale in the lobby. First Aid: Please speak with the house manager or any of the ushers if you need first aid or have any sort of accident or medical emergency. Insurance regulations require that such instances be documented immediately. Inclement Weather Policy: The nature of touring performance schedules is such that it is generally impossible for us to reschedule cancelled performances. Therefore, with very rare exceptions, our policy is that the show will go on regardless of the weather as long as the performers are able to perform. Please make travel plans in accordance with anticipated weather conditions, but please DO NOT endanger yourself. The theatre strongly recommends that you add on ticket insurance through Booking Protect to protect your purchase. Prohibited: Items and activities which are prohibited include (but are not limited to): smoking, weapons, outside food or drinks, camera or recording devices, cell phones not silenced or set to vibrate, laser pointers, disruptive or abusive language, pets (except those assisting persons with disabilities), and persons exhibiting intoxication or drug use. Offenders may be removed from the theatre without compensation. Directions: The Hanover Theatre is centrally located approximately an hour from Boston, Providence and Hartford. We are accessible from all major routes and located just 15 minutes from the Mass Pike. Take exit 16 off of I-290. For complete directions, visit TheHanoverTheatre. org/directions. Dropping off and parking: If you’re with a bus or need to be dropped off, simply reference the directions above. Our theatre is handicap accessible with police detail present at every show, so dropping off couldn’t be easier. We offer convenient parking across the street and behind the theatre. Not to mention, our parking rates are far less expensive than other metro area lots.
