TUCKS FASTENERS & FIXINGS APPOINT NEW GENERAL MANAGER

The board of QFF Distribution are delighted to announce the appointment of Dermot Maguire as General Manager of Tucks Fasteners & Fixings effective from January 1st, 2023. Gary Hogan, Group Managing Director, commenting on Dermot’s appointment “Before joining Tucks Fasteners & Fixings in 2017, Dermot worked as Head of Finance for a hotel group in the Irish hospitality sector. For the past few years, Dermot has held the post of Finance Director for the group businesses in Ireland. Dermot brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge and I look forward to introducing him to all our stakeholders as our new General Manager in the coming weeks. I have no doubt that Dermot’s tenacity, drive and enthusiasm will be a real force in ensuring Tucks Fasteners & Fixings moves forward and achieves the ambitious strategic objectives we have set for the business.” Dermot is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland having qualified in 1996. Dermot is also a member of the Institute of Bankers and holds a Diploma in Corporate Finance. Post practice, Dermot worked for private equity investment firms for 17 years and gleaned strong experience in corporate finance, and different sectors including hardware, property development, food (chilled & ambient) and pharmaceutical.
