GRADES 9-12
“The Conservatory is open to all students of all abilities. Join us and find your Happy Place!”
~Laura
“The Conservatory is more a journey than an end. Its programs are renowned for their professionalism yet are tailored for students.”
The Conservatory at Harker offers high-level, comprehensive programs in dance, drama, vocal music, instrumental music, technical theater and musical theater. All our performing arts experiences are offered in an environment where students discover their own artistic affinities and nurture their creative potential while enriching the whole community with performances throughout the year.
Our program allows students to grow as artists in myriad ways.
• They develop self-confidence and responsibility, personal and artistic expression, and listening and awareness skills
• An abundance of electives are augmented with after-school workshops and performances.
• Ensembles perform at events throughout the year, often joining together at major campus events.

THE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
The one of a kind Conservatory Certificate Program guides students through a comprehensive course of study in all the disciplines, with special emphasis in the discipline of the student’s choice. The program culminates in Senior Showcase, featuring an awards ceremony and performances by the new Certificate graduates. Students’ college applications include an information sheet detailing this unique and highcaliber program.
LIFE IN THE ARTS
Each year alumni artists who are making a life in the performing arts are honored with Life in the Arts award at Senior Showcase. Past winners include film, theater, and theater education professionals.
SUMMER @ THE CONSERVATORY
Summer @ The Conservatory, founded in 2018, provides high-quality, wellrounded performing arts education. • Screen Acting Bootcamp - rising grade 5-12 students
