High School

Sophomore

Survival Guide

Gabriella Kallabat ('23) "My best advice for incoming sophomores is to stay on task

by ERYN STERN Editor-in-Chief

and make sure you are organized. Work really hard in your classes and join new clubs."

Natalie Raab ('23)

Freshman

Julia Yousif ('24) "My best advice for incoming freshmen is to work really hard in your classes and manage your time well."

Danny Stern ('24)

“Join clubs and activities that you will enjoy. Those clubs and activities are the best part of high school.”

Junior

Esha Varchasvi ('22) "Be prepared! As a junior last year, I had a ton of extra

curriculars and was not properly prepared for my classes in terms of homework and tests, which led to a lot of late nights. So especially if you’re taking hard classes be prepared or be ready to grind."

Zach Frank ('22) "Junior year is a big year. Make sure you stay on top of your work and form good relationships with your teachers."

"Sophomore year was one of the best school years I’ve ever had! There’s are a few things to keep in mind to be successful this school year. It’s so important to try and be outgoing, because even though it’s your second year at BHHS, you will still meet so many more new people. It’s also so important to give 100% effort in everything you do, and always keep a positive attitude. If you do these things, you will have a great year."

Senior

Jillian Sacksner ('21) "I think that as a senior it is truly important to stay positive, always

looking at the bright side of things. This is a year of growth and change, and as such, there will be tough times, but you will also succeed in learning all about where you will be in the near future. So, the best advice I could give for you this year, is to look forward and think positively."

Marlee Sacksner ('21) "I think it’s really important to not let others achievements bring

you down, but instead be proud of what you have accomplished and look forward to the future ahead of you. It is also extremely important to enjoy every moment of your final year in high school because it goes by super fast. Go to every event you can and make sure to cherish these precious moments with your friends."
