I am blessed to have met Mr. Terry L. Ware Sr. on social media and watch his writing journey turn into greatness.
The unique journey of his books can be found wherever books are sold. I am thankful to share his experiences with The Heat Seekers Magazine.
The Heat Seekers Magazine: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Terry Ware Sr: Let’s see, I am the Father of 3 Wonderful Children, Aniah, Terry Jr , and Teara Ware I am a Writer, Author, Poet, Actor, Motivational Speaker, Publisher, and Entrepreneur. Most of all though I love God with every part of my being, without Him I know I would not have been able to accomplish the things that I have or will accomplish! I love to see others win in life no matter what it is which led me to start my company, B.O.S.S. & Company.
B.O.S.S. stands for Building Opportunities Stirring Success I have 3 entities under that umbrella, B.O.S.S. Publishing, B.O.S.S. Clothing & Apparel, and B.O.S.S. Productions. I have been in business since 2016 and have been Blessed to help many become Self-Published Authors. I myself have published a total of 6 books, Love’s Recipe; Motivational High - Inspirational Growth; Daily Breath of Prayers, PoEtIc XpReSsIoNs, Volumes 1-3. I have been Blessed to appear in quite a few Major Productions as an Actor doing background work and also being able to be a part of a few films that I was Blessed to have a speaking role in. I love what I do because it gives me the opportunity to meet so many different people hear their stories and be able to see how God has really brought them through some tough times in life I endeavor to see everyone I come in contact with WIN because I feel like no matter what, there is enough room for us each to be successful, we just have to keep God first and make sure we are listening to Him as He leads us.
THS: Most of your books correlate to motivation and helping others get through tough times. How did you come up with these concepts? Tell us about your journey.
TW: It was no one but God!:-) I grew up as a very shy person and never really liked talking much or being around a lot of people let alone talking to different people..lol But I realized that there was something within me that God had given me and that no matter what I felt, this is not about me but about doing what it is that He has me to do. As I mentioned above, I love to see people WIN, so whatever I can do to be a help in that process I am always willing to do, even if it’s just being a listening ear, giving a hug here or there, or just encouraging someone to never give up because there is greatness within them, I am all for it. So, I guess you can say that dealing with a lot of things in life and getting closer to God allowed me to not be ashamed of my mistakes or struggles in life but to use the wisdom that God has given me to help pour into others.
THS: Who pushed you through the writing process?
TW: To be honest I never imagined myself as a writer, but I would share a lot of my poetry with those that were close to me and they would encourage me to put together a book, my mom being one of those people. I dismissed it for a while until one day I was just like, ok, let’s see if I can actually put a book out. Was introduced to a publisher and it went from there.
THS: Are you an outliner (someone who outlines the story) or a pantser (someone who writes by the seat of their pants)?
TW: I’m actually a little bit of both. When it comes to putting books together, I’m an outliner, but when it comes to writing poetry, I’m more of a pantser.
THS: What are some of your hobbies?
TW: Some of my hobbies include singing (I don’t do it as much as I used to though ), listening to music, and just really meditating from time to time
THS: How long have you been creating literature?
TW: I have been writing for quite some time now, about 20 years or more now. I started out writing poetry and have evolved with wanting to get into eventually writing novels. God has actually given me a few book ideas, one of which will be on relationships and love which I am really excited to get started on.
THS: Is there anyone you desire to work with or co-write within the future?
TW: I’m honestly not sure but I am open to working with anyone that promotes positivity, impacting the lives of others, motivating others to be great, and just all-around creating literature that touches the hearts of others.
THS: Name 3 people that you would like to meet one day pertaining to the literary world.
TW: Tony Robbins, Iyanla Vanzant, & Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu
THS: How do you juggle all your different projects along with family, career, and motivational speaking?
TW: It’s really tough but what I try to keep in mind is that family comes first, and you should always make time for family. I have been a bit slack in one of my book projects, but I am getting back to it here soon. I try and just really remind myself of the “WHY” factor, and also remind myself that whatever God is leading me to has nothing to do with me so if I stop completely or if I decide I don’t want to do something, then I am depriving others of something God is trying to get to them, do for them, or even partially keeping them from seeing the greatness within themselves. Also, it just doesn’t sit right with me when I know I should be doing something but I’m allowing life to get in the way. I have to find that extra push so that I can push through whatever is going on to do the things I am supposed to be doing.
THS: What do you like the most about writing?
TW: What I enjoy most about writing is being able to share life experiences or the knowledge God has imparted to me. I enjoy being able to tap into different areas of life that someone may be struggling with and be able to give them a different perspective, a different way to view something they may be dealing with. I enjoy being able to share my thoughts and having my words be a Blessing to others.
THS: What’s next for you?
TW: I am eager to get started on a few book ideas that God has given me, the main one being on love and relationships, whether it be friendships, marriages, spiritual relationships, etc… Stay tuned…..

A few months back I met up with Chef Karisha Rice. She's a local chef in the Upstate of Greenville South Carolina who specializes in fine dining cusine meals. Her story is that she started out as a small child cooking in the kitchen with her grandma and it just fit with her.
We met at her local Spot on the Parkway in Greer SC where Chefs can rent out space to prepare their meals or do interviews & food reviews just as we did with Tasteful Tips and Trips of the "Focus Forward with Robin" Brand.
We started off with an appetizer of crab stuffed shrimp with a Cajun cream sauce that was my favorite as I love shrimp. The Flavor wasn't too spicy and the cream sauce was seasoned just right.
We also had the sweet and spicy salmon bites. Now this was top of the line salmon and I know this because salmon is one of my favorite fish to eat and I'm very particular with flavors of salmon. It was slightly crusted on the outside but savory and tender on the inside. It was spicy but enjoyable.
Chef Karisha out did herself as she prepared me two dishes to taste
The first main dish was Parmesan stuffed chicken breast with mashed potatoes and green beans his is a catering business you want to utilize for your next event. To contact Chef Karisha, you can reach her on social media and email: chefkarisharice@gmail.com. She is a ACF Certified Chef in the culinary arts & pastry degree. Chef Karish is a beautiful spirited woman who started out as a child in the kitchen with her grandma and now is making her wayvworking in excellence as a professional chef.
Since cheese is one of my favorites, I felt it added flavor to the stuffed chicken. The chicken has a slight more salt than I would have liked, but it still tasted very well with flavor. The green beans was lightly seasoned with butter and the mashed potatoes had a special ingredient that were no ordinary style of potatoes. It all blended well .
The other course meal to flavor was the Herb lamb chops with creamy mashed potatoes and broccolini. Now, as a food blogger I have tasted lambchops from the south and the North of Baltimore to the west coast of Hollywood. I'm very harsh on my reviews with lamb-chops. Up until I tried Chef Karisha's lambchops, I had not found any that out beats the perfect review of lambchops other than Sunset Blvd in Hollywood However, her chops were uniquely prepared as I watched. She lightly seared them in butter in a deep dish frying pan with seasoning. Then she baked them in the oven This way they were made to perfection!

Of course all of the meal could not be eaten and portions were sent home with me. I enjoyed all of her meals so much so that she came to an event I hosted with my business partner Michael A Embry. And she catered another great meal. Chef Karisha Catering & Co. LLC had plenty of food to serve the guest. The meal included chicken marsala, green beans mashed potatoes roll tea and lemonade. There was so many positive reviews about the food!
