Strawberry-Lit Magazine’s first issue released December 2015 with MK Asante on the cover. It was created by myself, LaQueisha Malone to cover all things literary and of the arts.

I remember being a space where I was searching for ways to promote myself and get in magazines. At that time, magazine would tell me they were looking for more urban writers or not accepts authors for interview. There were author magazines out there but they were limited.

When I began researching what was out there for us Indie Authors in magazine, notice that the magazine didn’t offer information about publishing but only offered interviews. I wanted to fill that gap by providing writing, publishing, and marketing information along with interviews.

We are coming upon 6 years come December 2021 and I’m so excited.
