San Diego is truly a beautiful city, full of atmosphere, rolling hills and canyons. It’s also home to a bustling, energetic, sporty and outdoors lifestyle. We all love San Diego! Not surprisingly then, it has seen above-average growth in the number of young people (aged 25 to 34) and adults with a bachelor’s degree moving to the region over the last two years. San Diego’s biodiversity is also off the charts! It is one of 25 similarly-sized geographic areas in the world with the highest concentration of different plant and animal species.

The most exciting thing for those of us close by, in Orange County or Riverside, is that San Diego is an hour or two drive away. This means we get to enjoy the beauty, magic and diversity of San Diego on day trips and weekends. A truly rewarding getaway visit!

I have just spent the last 2 weekends there. The first weekend I battled the infamous traffic jam on the 5 Freeway, surely the biggest strike against beautiful San Diego. The second weekend I decided to change my experience and catch the train instead.

on time. The view of the coastal scenery from the train was spectacular, and we arrived in San Diego unflustered and relaxed. What took me so long to figure this out?

On the first weekend. I took my daughter Tayla and her friend, Isabella, to visit San Diego’s world famous zoo and just generally enjoy all the fun outdoor activities that San Diego has to offer. This proved to be a delightful weekend and the girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

What’s the ONE Thing you can do, that by doing it, everything else will be easier or unnecessary?
