Now that we are more than halfway through the year, are you where you want to be? Have you fulfilled what you wanted to accomplish this year? Most of us are probably behind for obvious reasons. It is time to get back on track. Look at what you need to do to accomplish your goals. Write down your goals. Figure out which ones are attainable and then create the plan to achieve them. Dedicate the daily and weekly time you will need to get it done. Apply the 80/20 rule to your daily life. Focus on the right 20% to make the most effective use of your time. You can move toward reaching your goals just by doing one small thing at a time. For instance, if one of your goals for the year was to become more organized, take five minutes a day to do something. Throw away old items
from the refrigerator or move files on your computer desktop to the correct folders or download the photos from your digital phone to your computer or cloud storage. Sometimes all it takes to feel an amazing sense of accomplishment can be done in each day in just five minutes. Perhaps one of your goals pertains to your health? Start eating better and exercising a little bit more than last year. Maybe your goal pertains to your home? Have you decided to do some work around the house? Get the ball rolling. Take five minutes to schedule that appointment with a local home improvement contractor you have been putting off. You will be amazed at how great it feels to take even small steps toward what you want out of life for you and your family. Did you know, 40% of Americans complete their New Year’s Resolutions by June? According to University of Scranton psychology professor, John C. Norcross, studies report if you believe in yourself, you are 10 times more likely to change via a New Year's resolution,
compared to non-resolvers. If you think you can do it, you can. It doesn’t have to be January to set new goals. So, don’t give up. Create a beautiful life full of passion, achievement, and reward. Use the remainder of this extraordinary year to make the changes you have been thinking about, not just for this year but for your entire life. Lift yourself up mentally, spiritually, and physically. Focus on yourself, your own personal growth. Schedule time for self-improvement. Learn to be a stronger, more powerful person. Unleash your power from within.
