One thing’s for sure--we did have fun. My daughter, Tayla, just turned seven years old and she absolutely loved going on a trip to London and Paris with her mom. After seeing all the famous museums and works of art, what she really loved was going to the top of the Eiffel tower to use the restroom. Kids!!

It was the adventure of traveling by bus to play sports against other schools, bunking out at night to go visit girls…and the fear of getting caught. I made friends for life and learned how to survive on my own in a tough world. Those memories were definitely the best time of my life!

I remember my life in the British Virgin Islands as a charter boat captain on a luxury yacht. Having six new charter guests spend a week with us nearly every single week for five years in a row was hard work. I faced multiple hurricanes, mechanical failures, and challenging individuals; but I also got to dive over 500 times, water ski, eat fresh lobster, meet famous people, travel to exotic islands, and swim in clear blue water every single day. We had so much fun…. now that was the best time of my life! Well, now I live in Orange County, and I have a wife and daughter I absolutely love and adore. I have a business that challenges me to change and grow every day, a team that overcomes all obstacles together while having great fun in the process, my health, and an upcoming trip to South Africa…now this is the best time of my life! I think David Grayson said it best – “the other day a man asked me what i thought was the best time of life. ‘Why,’ i answered without a thought, ‘now.’” Yes!! Now is the best time of YOUR life.
