Sensory Bottle St Patrick;s Day

Sensory bottles, or sometimes they are called calm down bottles, are becoming quite a trend! Sensory bottles are mesmerizing for all ages and a great tool and distraction for children. You can purchase these online and in several big retail stores; but why buy when you can make one right at home? Plus, the kids will love to help and add the items they want!

Ready to make a St. Patrick’s Day bottle?

Here is all you need:

Empty plastic water bottle 3 - 6oz bottles of clear Elmer’s Glue 1 C warm water Sequins, glitter, confetti, and gems of choice. Optional: Use a hot glue gun to secure the lid in place.

Instructions:

Remove any labels from water bottle. Pour 1 bottle of glue into water bottle. Fill the empty glue bottle about half full with warm water. Shake glue bottle to combine glue and water, pour into the water bottle and shake.

Add in sequins and glitter of choice into the glue mixture! Repeat the above steps until your water bottle is full. If your glitter and sequins move around easily, you may need to add more glue. If they are not moving much, you may need more water.
