Samantha Hamlin is the founder of WITH LOLA and Chief Editor for The Indie Guide. After graduating in Fine Art at university, Sam found herself searching for opportunities within the arts. Looking endlessly for inspiration and constantly facing hurdles, she went through all the motions of wanting to start a business and felt completely out of her depth. After many failed business attempts and loose ends, WITH LOLA was born. A platform which raises the profile of creatives starting on their business journey, whether it be a side hustle or a fulltime project. WITH LOLA features weekly interviews, blog posts and projects which support the creative sector. Throughout her career, Sam has worked with many International Festivals, Art Events and Fortune 500 companies around the world. She has a true passion for innovation, supporting creativity and cheerleading the next generation of business owners!

Evie Daines is the Collaborative Editor of The Indie Guide and the founder of the independent brand Daines Atelier. Upon starting her business, she noticed the lack of support and understanding from the community around her. This gave her the drive to show and teach others the importance of investing in the talented creatives around them. Rather than the big dogs. She is focused on the communication between brand and stockist, educating those who have a voice to represent the importance of indie retailers in climates such as todays. A lover of sustainable practice and transparency in a brand is something which Evie believes makes shopping Independent magical.

Yousef Al Nasser is a fashion, portraiture, and lifestyle photographer from Kuwait with a 10-year background in commercial photography. Always ready to apply a variety of creative approaches to capture images that will best meet clients’ wishes. With an MFA in Fine Art Photography and a passion for street photography, Yousef’s attention to detail and love for creating “candidly composed” images is a running theme in his work. His commercial work has been published in multiple issues of Kuwait’s number one English magazine, and in the United Kingdom he has been published in The Economist, The Telegraph, The Guardian and Vice. Now, entering the world of magazines and graphic design, Yousef is the Creative Director of The Indie Guide!
