Insight Events held around England and Wales for Events: students and graduates considering a career Becoming a at the Bar. Open to members and Masters Barrister of the Bench to attend as speakers and to network with future members.

Discovery Day for Schools

In Focus For year 12 and 13 school students from around England and Wales. Open to Members and Masters of the Bench to attend as speakers and to network with future members. A roundtable event that explores specific issues in relation to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and access to the profession. Open to Members and Masters of the Bench to attend

Glossary of Qualifying Session terms

Spotlight On The ‘Spotlight On’ events will focus on practical advice on pupillage in different practice areas.

EDI Series An event that explores specific issues in relation to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

Ethics in Practice An interactive discussion on a variety of ethics scenarios.

Student’s Advocacy Weekend

Education Day The Inn hosts three student advocacy weekends a year. The weekends offer the chance to practise advocacy skills, as well as an opportunity to hear from high profile speakers and experts in the topic under discussion.

Three sessions, each covering a separate theme: a) Advocacy Training Session b) EDI at the Bar Talk c) Ethics Training

Dress Code Unless otherwise stated the dress code for Qualifying Sessions is lounge suits, no gowns.
