aquar, which calls itself ‘the complete bathing solutions brand’, had its global launch in Dubai recently at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. The event attracted industry stalwarts from Europe, Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa who were present to witness not only an exclusive entertainment extravaganza, but also an exquisite display of Jaquar’s product portfolio of co-ordinated bathroom solutions. Welcoming the distinguished gathering Mr Rajesh Mehra, Director and Promoter of the Jaquar Group said, “I have a dream to build Jaquar as a global leader in complete bathing solutions, and with this global launch, it seems this dream is moving towards realisation.” With over 50 years of continuous research and development, Jaquar has established itself as a trusted brand, known for its excellence in innovation and technology. Jaquar with a vast and impressive portfolio to its credit has a dominant position in commercial, residential, public institutions and hotels across the sub-continent. In an exclusive interview with The Inside Track, Mr. Rajesh Mehra, Director of Jaquar shared his insights on building Jaquar as a global brand. For positioning Jaquar as a global brand does the company plan to set up offices and showrooms abroad? As part of our international expansion plan we are currently setting up a number of orientation centres, whereas we combine office, showroom and training centre in one facility. These orientation centres have proven to be sucessful in the past as clients can experience Jaquar’s wide product portfolio and attend technical seminars. The Middle East is certainly a focus area, whereas we are in the process of setting up a new orientation centre in Dubai and Saudi Arabia. Europe is a target market for us as well. We are now setting up infrastructure in the UK. Other countries will follow.

Jaquar Launches Its Global Agenda With a power packed launch event in Dubai, Jaquar is all set to broaden its horizon as a global player. BY Vikas bhadra A global setup also calls for a full fledged dealer-distributor network across a number of countries. How does Jaquar plan to establish this and which countries are currently under consideration? Certainly, retail business is our priority and a wide dealer/showroom network is key to establish a brand in a sustainable way. We are lucky that we have partners who recognise us as a complete bathroom solution brand and who prefer to work with a one-stop solution brand that creates through brand awareness a strong pull as well. Our orientation centres help here to give our partners ideas how to showcase Jaquar in their own retail outlets as well. Again, continued on page 2
