BUSINESS: THE LATEST CLINIC & SPA OPENINGS

COME IN…

The latest clinic and spa openings to know now.

Hair & Skin Science

Hair & Skin Science has launched their 14th clinic at Australia’s Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

In 2016 Royce Newton, Co-Director of Hair Skin Science saw a gap in the market for affordable hair loss, laser and skin services. What started as a family business in Ashwood Victoria, can now be found in NSW, WA, QLD and VIC. Jenna Chan, Director says: “Our mission from the beginning has been to provide affordable hair loss and skin treatments performed by registered nurses and supported by Australian medical doctors.” Hair & Skin Science clinics offer a range of affordable must-try treatments which can produce rapid results, providing professional, affordable treatments such as micro needling, PRP, laser, anti wrinkle injections, fillers and thread lifts.

What makes Hair & Skin Science unique is that 97% of their skin treatments are performed by highly qualified registered nurses, when typically skin treatments are performed by beauty therapists. Hair & Skin Science personalised treatments can be tailored to suit all skin types and specific skin needs. PRP has quickly become one of the most popular treatments to have instead of injectables, fillers and surgery. Hair & Skin Science Clinics are known as the place to go for the famous ‘Vampire Facials’ and other advanced skin treatments.

Shape Clinic

As one of Australia’s leading Plastic Surgeons, Dr Steven Liew is driven by his passion for the art of beauty. He leads a globally recognised centre, Shape Clinic in Darlinghurst, that provides both surgical and non-surgical options. As he and his team had outgrown the premises, Dr Liew recently opened a bigger space. “Over the last 5 years we have experienced enormous growth and we simply outgrew our space. We pride ourselves on the fact that no matter how busy we are, the client will never ever feel this but rather that they are the most important person in the world and our only client for the day,” he says.

All rooms are named after semi-precious gemstones – opal, topaz, ruby, sapphire etc, with the clinic expanding over two levels. There is a seperate and discreet entrance for VIPs, and a dedicated in-house education space where the team can conduct workshops. A sophisticated technical setup even enables them to live stream this worldwide. A generous rooftop terrace for patients to relax preand post-treatment is the cherry on top in this beautiful new clinic.

Rimba Sweat

Rimba Sweat are thrilled to announce their expansion, with a second studio, now open for business in the heart of Neutral Bay. This is the second studio from owner-operator Lauren Wright, who recently celebrated the second anniversary of Rimba Sweat’s Manly studio.

Rimba Sweat’s most luxurious space yet, the studio brings to life the notion of relaxed sophistication. The studio houses five private infrared sauna suites, as well as a large communal contrast therapy room (The Remedy Room) complete with a custom made Finnish traditional sauna, two ice baths and pail shower. Each ‘The Remedy Room’ session includes up to one hour of recovery, and can be booked individually or for a group of four.

A visually stunning experience from the moment you walk in the doors, Rimba Sweat’s signature Mediterranean aesthetic of soft whites and raw textures is on show, elevated by black accents and oversized marble features. Neutral Bay Rimba Sweat is a representation of Wright’s deep passion for sharing the restorative practice of infrared sauna therapy, says Wright.

“It’s our most luxurious space yet - we’re so thrilled with the way the space has come to life; it was our vision that the contrasting design elements in the interior were a nod to the contrasting nature of the therapy itself, and it’s turned out beautifully. It exudes a sense of slow, and we look forward to welcoming the Neutral Bay community and beyond into the space, to find stillness.” Rimba Sweat are also preparing to set up a studio in Cronulla, slated for opening late 2022.
