New Year’s Eve fireworks return to Beaufort By Delayna Earley The Island News New Year’s Eve fireworks are returning to downtown Beaufort. Beginning at 9 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2023, on the Beaufort River, guests are invited to gather at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in downtown Beaufort – or anywhere that has a good view of that portion of the river – to see the “colorful bursts of light” as they “fill the sky,” according to the event’s Facebook page.
