Northwell worker’s alleged killer arraigned Hines pleads not guilty to murdering ex-girlfriend BY B R A N D ON D U FF Y A Bay Shore man was arraigned Friday on murder charges for allegedly shooting and killing his ex-girlfriend, a Northwell Health employee, in New Hyde Park. Our thoughts are with Amelia’s loved ones as we prosecute this case.” Capt. Stephen Fitzpatrick of the Nassau County Police Department previously said Hines stalked Laguerre after the two broke up last Continued on Page 42
