Police investigate multiple antisemitic incidents

Police are investigating antisemitic incidents in recent weeks.
A Jewish man was reportedly subjected to threatening gestures and verbal abuse on the London Underground. The alleged incident occurred on June 12 on the Piccadilly Line from Hyde Park Corner (2.45pm).

Jewish residents in Stamford Hill were reportedly harassed. Comments included “Hitler” and “Free Palestine” from suspects in a communal garden believed to live in flats on Holmleigh Road. The alleged incident occurred June 10th and 11th.

Swastika graffiti was discovered in Bournemouth by a Jewish family on holiday on June 12.

A man reportedly made Jewish women targets of antisemitic abuse on a London bus. The alleged incident was on June 9th on the 106 bus towards Stamford Hill
(2pm).

An identifiably Jewish man walking with his wife and grandchild was reportedly punched in the eye by a cyclist in north London. It was reported that the man was treated by Hatzola before having hospital treatment. The alleged incident was on June 8th on the River Lea pathway at the bottom of Saw Mill Way (3.15pm).

Two Jewish children alllegedly were victims of an assault. The suspect reportedly wiped his dirty hands on one of the children’s clothes before saying: “This is what you deserve.” The alleged incident was on June 8th on the corner of Cranwich Road and Denver Road (7.15pm).

A Jewish man in Stamford Hill was reportedly struck after being accosted for a cigarette.
The suspect is accused of yelling antisemitic slurs. The alleged incident was on June 1st (9.30am) on the corner of Stamford Hill and Linthorpe Road.

A Jewish man was allegedly assaulted whilst leaving a synagogue in Stamford Hill. He was said to have been shoved by a slim man who yelled “F*** Jew”. The alleged incident was on June 3rd (12.10pm).

Jewish women and children were reportedly chased and assaulted by a man yelling antisemitic slurs in Stamford Hill. The alleged incident was on May 31st outside Berry’s The Kosher Food Store (9.30am).

Campaign Against Antisemitism has launched a witness appeal following video footage of a man swearing at someone and saying “f*** Jews” on June 12th.
