The KAUST School

The KAUST School (TKS) supports the thriving University community of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). As an international IB (International Baccalaureate) World School, we take great pride in supporting KAUST’s commitment not only to students, faculty, and staff but also to their families by providing an excellent education for the children of KAUST. Stunningly positioned on the Red Sea, north of Jeddah, we are home to over 70 nationalities and 1800 students, aged 3-18. Our students benefit from our close links to the University, by broadening their learning experience and accessing world-class resources, expertise, and facilities. Our academic programs offer a range of options that are as diverse and inclusive as our community, opening a world of opportunities for our future changemakers to study at global universities. We teach the world-renowned, rigorous IB curriculum – incorporating Primary Years Program, Middle Years Program, and Diploma Program – and our students also receive the US High School Diploma upon graduation. We’re equally proud of our extensive range of over 140 co-curricular club and activity programs, which broaden the horizons of our students and develop well-rounded young people across sport, arts and STEM. Supporting our students’ experience are exceptional facilities, including technology-equipped classrooms, labs and creative arts spaces, a 25-meter pool, gyms, auditoriums, outdoor basketball, tennis courts and a soccer pitch.
