Established in 1996 and renamed in 2024 in recognition of 12th Headmaster, Mr Alan Russell, who established the current format of the annual Public Speaking Competition. Awarded across the school to a student who, in the opinion of the judges, has performed the best at the Public Speaking Finals.
ROSS MEMORIAL PRIZE
Henry Dockrill & Archer Hutchinson (aeq.)
Established in 1934 by Mr and Mrs Ross in honour of their son Malcolm Charles Ross who died from illness at age 10. It was originally awarded for a paper on English subjects and is now a Year 6 prize based on an inquiry research piece.
NEWBY MATHEMATICAL CHALLENGE PRIZE

Established in 2001 and presented to the Year 6 student with the highest overall score in the Australian Mathematics Olympiad competition.

Established in 2024 through proceeds from the Christopher Ashton bequest, author of Tudor House: the First Hundred Years. Awarded to the Year 6 student who has finished first in English.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE PRIZE

First recorded in the Tudorian in 1943, the General Knowledge Prize goes to the student with the highest score in the annual General Knowledge Quiz.
PERFORMING ARTS PRIZE (FORMERLY THE DRAMA PRIZE)

Established in 2024 and named after the innovative and entrepreneurial 13th Headmaster, Mr John Stewart. Awarded to a student who demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial skills and a positive attitude during the KidsMBA program.

Established in 1999 in memory of Will Ashton (OT 1991) after his tragic passing aged 20 years, by his father Wallace Ashton (OT 1961). Will was Captain of the 1st XI and 1st XV during his time at Tudor House and later played in the Australian Schoolboys XV. A Year 6 prize awarded to the student with the most outstanding accomplishments in team and individual sports.

Established in 1978 and awarded to the most outstanding Year 6 Chorister of the year. This is usually (but not necessarily) awarded to the Head Chorister.

Established in 1999 and named in honour of Lady Medley, wife of the 6th Headmaster Sir John Medley and awarded to a Year 6 student who, in the opinion of the School Librarian has demonstrated a commitment, helpfulness and positive attitude in the library.

THE OE RUTHERFORD PRIZE
Announced at Prize Day
First awarded in 1973 in honour of the first female residential teacher, Olive Elizabeth Rutherford, who worked at Tudor House from 1940-1971. It is decided by the Staff and Head of School and is given to the student who has gained the most from their time at Tudor House.
THE DIXON AWARD
Announced at Prize Day
Established in 1970 and named after Edward Lincoln Dixon, the longest serving Headmaster at Tudor House and presented to a Year Six student who, in the opinion of the staff, has the best attitude to, and participation in, School Sports.
THE INMAN CUP
Announced at Prize Day
Named after the School founder Wilfred Inman and first noted in the Tudorian in 1925. The Inman Cup is awarded to the Year Six student who has shown the greatest level of leadership and school spirit.
