Academic Tutor CLL and Department
Specific
Academic Tutors provide tutoring to students one-on-one or in a small group.
HOURS AND AVAILABILITY
Minimum three-hour shifts after school and on Saturdays.

After School Activities Supervisor
After School Supervisors provide active supervision of primary age students and monitor student attendance.
HOURS AND AVAILABILITY
Monday-Friday 3.00-6.00pm (minimum three-hour shifts).

Boarding Academic Patron
Boarding Academic Patrons provide academic mentoring and guidance to students in the boarding house. Patrons may work across multiple boarding houses.
HOURS AND AVAILABILITY
Monday-Thursday 7.00-10.00pm (minimum three-hour shifts). Some weekend work may be required.

Boarding Assistant –Tudor House
Boarding Assistants provide active supervision of students in the Boarding House. This includes monitoring activity within the house and being a point of contact for students while on duty.
HOURS AND AVAILABILITY
Monday - Friday 3.30-9.00pm. Weekends 7.00am-2.00pm or 2.00pm-9.00pm. (Minimum three-hour shifts).

Debating Coach
Boarding Supervisory Patrons provide active supervision of students in the Boarding House. This includes monitoring activity within the house and being a point of contact for students while on duty. Patrons may work across multiple boarding houses.
HOURS AND AVAILABILITY
Senior School: Every Friday from 3.30pm to 8.30, 9.30 or 10.00pm depending on the competition and the year level. (Minimum three-hour shifts).
Preparatory School: Every Friday 3.00-8.00pm (Terms 1 and 2). Two afternoons per week in (Term 2 and 3).

Sport Coach
Sports Coaches are assigned to a specific team or teams to coach or assist with coaching and skill development. Sports Coaches setup and pack down for training sessions, warm up with students, attend games and complete match and incident reports.
HOURS AND AVAILABILITY
Attend training sessions before or after school. AM training time depends on the sport, PM training is 3.30-5.30pm.
Game attendance on Saturdays. Note: Tudor House will have different training times with most games during the week. (Minimum two-hour shifts).

• Interest in sport and sport coaching
• Experience playing at least one sport
• Good communication skills with a variety of age groups

PRE-REQUISITES TO WORKING AT KING’S
• Candidates must be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident or hold a valid visa.
• Hold and maintain a New South Wales Working with Children Check. (You can apply online via the Office of Children’s Guardian).
• Hold a Tax File Number. (You can apply via ATO website)
• Attend relevant induction
• Complete annual compliance training

NEXT STEPS
• Applications will be assessed for suitability, and People and Culture will contact candidates’ Housemasters for an internal reference.
• Offers will be made based on suitability and availability of roles.
• The School will contact applicants in December or January following the HSC results.
• If you are successful and offered a role or roles, you will issued a contract for acceptance.
• Following this, information will be provided about induction and compliance training for completion.
• You must accept your contract and complete the training before you can work on-site.
