What advice would you give future cadets?

Make the most out of Corps, you get what you put in Although in your first year, you may not fully appreciate the true value of Corps. However, as you develop, you can better appreciate the experience and unforgettable memories of Corps camp

MESSAGE FROM FOOD SECURITY

PADRE'S WEEKLY BIBLE VERSE

"Lunch is ready. Give it an hour and a half more."

Colossians 3:23

This extract from Colossians esteems the cadet value of excellence that boys are encouraged to uphold as we conduct training initiatives each parade.

In all Corps activities, it is essential for cadets to work to the best of their ability, so they are challenged and taken out of their comfort zone, whilst having fun doing so.

We are also reminded as leaders and followers to demonstrate excellence in drill, dress, and discipline in the Corps as we work together to train for AFX. Each and every cadet is encouraged to become the best they can be both professionally, and personally during all Corps activities.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…”

What is SES's role in TKSCC?

In TKSCC, SES holds a unique role We aspire to train cadets to develop skills in natural disaster response, which can be applied to the broader community.

What does SES do?

During training for SES, we go down to Parramatta HQ as a platoon and work on various skills such as Nav, Flood/Land rescue, Storm and Water Damage Operations, 4WD training and possibly even chainsaw work

What is SES doing this week?

This week SES PLT will make its first visit to Parramatta HQ, where cadets will meet up with our training staff Ms Dykes and Mr Jeoffereys. At Parramatta HQ, SES will plan out future training and get themselves fitted with exclusive SES gear.

Why should you join SES?

SES is really the only platoon that engages in service to the community outside of Kings and it will be highly valued by employers and the general public as such.

When you join and complete the training at SES you are issued with a certificate which can be a great addition to your CV or something to talk about when doing Uni/ Job interviews. Lastly, you’ll be able to meet new people and build great relationships with the community out of kings Parramatta HQ is one of the most diverse SES headquarters in Australia.

Reach out to CUO Kadambi if you want to join. (must be at least 16y/o within next two weeks)
