The Freedom that Lies Beyond Boundaries! Learning
this curiosity is the ability of the person to think, learn and change.
Observe the events around you a little closer, and you will understand that it is curiosity that has elaborated the definition of the progression of humanity. And feeding
The human mind is the least explored and understood part of the body that has been feeding on this genesis, finding the sense of freedom in learning, discovering and inventing something for the greater good. Moreover, the structured system has allowed humanity to explore curiosity through a tried, tested and approved system that we today know as the education system. However, in this traditionally divided globe has been brought together through this neurotic
system connecting every dot in the world.
Internationalism, a concept that has been there since early civilisation, has boosted the wide spread of knowledge throughout humanity. Understanding this unique blend of internationalism and education, many educators worldwide have started collaborating with different international curriculums to provide a sense of freedom through learning to young minds.
And as the American author, Bell Hooks, connecting international education with freedom, once said, "I celebrate teaching that enables transgressions – a movement against and beyond boundaries. It is that
"Learn continually – there's always 'one more thing' to learn."

Fostering the Future of Children
Eat, Sleep, Play, Repeat!
This is the daily routine of children around us. And watching them indeed takes in the time of our own childhood, when our life is heavily dependent on our parents, making us worry a little less.

Apart from the fun that constantly revolves around the lives of children, the curious developing minds open its door to various things, developing and asking questions that make them familiar with life. That is why it is said that children's minds are curious, like sponges, made to absorb abundant knowledge.
And parents always worry about their children's learning from others and want their children to get the proper

Why is Holistic Learning a Need of the Hour?
Profound Education!
IIn the wave of emerging educational advancements, effective learning has taken a back st seat in the 21 century. The current generation demands an enhanced form of learning to keep up with the pace of this highly competitive world.
But have you ever wondered what an enhanced form of learning would look like?
Well, it is quite simple. Embrace learning holistically, as holistic learning does not merely teach the student in the classroom but also
prepares the student to tackle the battles of the real world.
Holistic education is a comprehended form of teaching that involves an innovative approach aiming to address all the aspects of a student's social, emotional, social, academic, as well as ethical development.
Without further ado, let's learn more about holistic learning!
Educating Student Community as a Whole
A child's education is more of a responsibility, as preparing an individual, and not just focusing on the tendency of passing tests or getting smarter by the brain, but also the overall development as a complete human being.
The overall development of the child revolves around making them wellrounded and constructive members of society. It also aims to cover all aspects of development like emotional, cognitive, physical, and social development.
The educator's role here is to teach holistically, to guide students to improve their social skills and coping mechanisms while respecting others, and, most importantly, to increase their love of learning something new every day.
Curating Social and Emotional Skills
When children come onto the school premises, they enter a different environment from their secured home setup. Thus, it is crucial to make them feel seen while reminding them that they matter and that their presence is validated. It automatically puts them in a better emotional state of mind and
makes them more active and receptive to learning.
Acknowledgement of feeling secure allows them to develop the habit of sharing one's emotions and healthily expressing feelings. Focusing on kids' social and emotional development has resulted in optimizing their brain development and everything associated with it.
Embracing Meaningful Teaching
In an attempt to follow a holistic approach while educating a child, teaching becomes more meaningful and opens the window to spontaneous learning opportunities. It requires taking their environment and their entire lives into consideration.
Holistic activities like singing songs and reciting rhymes, playing with dough, cooking, playing music games, going on scavenger hunts, doing art activities, and many others develop other aspects of a child and provide an appeal for embracing different styles of learning.
Enhance Experimental Learning
The predominant focus in the experimental learning format is 'Learning Outside Classroom.'
Holistic educators often have issues with only dealing with academic development, as it does not lead to a well-rounded learner. It takes both outdoor and indoor education with a dash of communal engagement, the arts, and learning by engaging with others.
The experience of learning beyond the walls that come along with formal education builds the base for growth as a person. It also leads to the discovery
of various interests and broadens their horizons. It encourages a desire to understand the real meaning of engaging with the world.
Inculcating a Caring Classroom Culture
Interacting with others in the classroom and outside the classroom increases connectivity with others. It imbues a caring quality into them, not just for themselves but for others around them too.
In a holistic classroom, teachers are not only concerned about their learning and excelling but also ensuring that they leave the classroom happy and, by the end of the year, have become wellrounded individuals while also becoming socially competent members of their respective communities. A caring classroom ensures that children's basic needs are met before they learn to their fullest potential.
To summarize Holistic education is a powerful and st thoughtful 21-century approach to modern-day education. As mentioned above, through holistic educational strategies, including integrated learning formats and communal interactions, teachers can help students develop a strong sense of self and thereby promote lifelong happiness and success.
SSchool is considered a place to
study and flourish; however, it is more than that. A school is an experience, a part of life that formulates the basic human nature of an individual and sets the foundation to lead a complete life. The knowledge gained through these experiences is a gift of education to keep the human race moving forward.
However, using literacy and education synonymously, we have neglected the considerable gap that separates them. Luckily not everyone has forgotten the lines of separation and has stayed true to the nature of education and literacy. Few schools know this difference and the value of school and school days.
One such institution is Kanakia International School . The institution not only values education and understands it but also gives importance to students' school life and plays a role in formulating crucial life experiences.

The teaching and learning in the classrooms and the events and activities
the forthcoming challenges and took the right steps to adapt ourselves.
We shifted from offline teaching to online education in a very short time frame, introducing numerous online activities for the students to keep them encouraged. Tools of Leadership

Once I was scolding my daughter for wearing her sandals at home and roaming around. She looked at me and said, "Daddy, but what about every morning you wear shoes and move around the house too!" She awoke me to the reality that before going to work, I put on my shoes and then walked around the house with them on for some time.
This made me think there are two types of leadership styles. One resorts to fear. I was scolding my daughter for wearing the shoes. The effect of it on her was nil. Even if I had continued to intimidate her, she would, have listened to me for sometime and removed her shoes. But the effect would have been temporary. Her reply told me that leaders use another effective tool to influence their people: respect. If I had been an example for my girls of not wearing footwear in the home in action, she would have respected my efforts and followed them herself better.
'What you are shouts so loudly in my ears that I cannot hear what you say.' We are all aware of the X and Y Theory of Motivation that Douglas McGregor gave us. He told us in no uncertain terms that authoritarian leadership resorts to moving people by fear and succeeds only in a culture of mediocrity, limited production and a repressed atmosphere where cynicism becomes the order of the day.
Leaders, who empower people, allow flexibility in their working style, and create a conducive environment for their growth and freedom are more effective in giving a better and quality output.
Fear: Fear is a reaction to a stimulus we feel unsafe about. It is an important emotion for survival. If your child puts hand in fire without fear, the fire will harm them. Fear of burning their hand is very necessary to keep your child safe. That is the primary function of fear. Fear was an important tool in their arsenal when our ancestors lived in the forests. The forest territory was dangerous, with wild animals, beasts, and creatures prowling.
Moreover, other tribal people were looking to take over your territory. Fear kept our ancestors alert to ward off such dangers, remain safe and survive. Fear releases the Cortisol hormone in our body, and psychological fears trigger your body's fight-flight-freeze response. It's a built-in defence mechanism causes physiological changes, like rapid heart rate and reduced pain perception. This enables you to protect yourself from a perceived threat quickly.
On the negative side, we don't need much fear in modern society where we are not in an unsafe territory like our ancestors. If leaders resort to intimidating us, fear has negative repercussions. The stress and anxiety resulting from workplace fear can cause increased heart rate, sweating, adrenaline rush and even a fight or flight response. Fear spreads from the mind to the body. This feeling often leads to employees being paralyzed with fear and unable to work effectively.
Fear leads to more harm as the atmosphere at the workplace vitiates. Fear leads to an unmotivated bunch of people who are just working for the money. They will, while away time, do what you say to your face, but as you turn your back, they will again go back to their old habits. Fear will also lead to rebellion. People will either be rebellious directly or indirectly. There is a story of a teacher who scolded a student and punished him for standing up in class. The student, after intimidation, stood up but said, "I am standing, but in my mind, I am still sitting."
Fear may move your people but not always in the right direction. Fear may get the work done but leave you unsatisfied. Fear may make you think people respect you when they hate you.
When you are no longer a leader, neither will people fear you nor will they respect you.
Respect : Imagine this scenario. If two leaders walk into the room, Gandhi and Hitler, who would you like to attend to?
The answer is obvious, isn't it? Even if Hitler orders you to do his bidding, and Gandhiji doesn't tell you to help him, you would still go on to attend to him without his telling. That is called respect!
Respect is a response that comes out of admiration for someone. It is a choice not automatically triggered like a reaction in the case of fear. We don't choose to fear, but we prefer to respect. Later, we are more present and fully our true selves.
Why do people respect a leader?
There are multiple reasons. She may be in an authority position, have the skills and talent that we admire, and have done extraordinary things for the organization or by the due of her character that we respect her. As leaders, we influence people through many things that lead them to respect us. But to earn respect, we have to respect our people.
A leader who goes beyond the employer and employee role and primarily looks at his people as human beings and respects them earns their respect. A leaders job is to get the work done. He has to motivate his people to get the work done. He does this by resorting to either fear or respect. When people respect you, you don't have to intimidate or threaten them. They will be willing to go the extra mile, knowing that you go out of your way to help them. They do the work for the love and respect they have for you in their hearts. Look at the disciples of Jesus Christ; they moved the world and propagated Christianity all over, not because they feared him, but due to their respect for him. Remember, if you want people to move, you resort to fear. If you want them to move the world for you, resort to respect.
How does a leader earn the respect of their people? As a leader, here is a list of things we can follow in a Leadership position so that instead of leading them by fear, we can lead them by respect.
Give respect: I have already mentioned that when you give respect, you are depositing in the emotional account of the person. She becomes obliged to do what you tell her. Getting angry is a withdrawal from the emotional account. You cannot receive what you have not put in. That is the simple rule of relationship. If I were unkind in my words, deeds and attitude towards my employees, I would be foolish to expect respect from them.
Be an example: Here, the rule is simple. Do what you say and say what you do . An honest leader is far more respected
than a dishonest one. We all know the example of the boy who cried 'wolf'. He was dishonest. He had to pay ultimately for his dishonesty. Don't be a leader who cries 'wolf' when there is none. Walk your talk
Find people doing right and compliment them: This principle we come across in the famous book 'One Minute Manager' by Ken Blanchard. He tells how effective leaders don't go about looking for someone doing something wrong. Rather they expect, believe and go for looking at people doing right. It may not be something big but very small. But making compliments and celebrations with your people should be the culture in your organization. When you appreciate, people feel good about themselves and are willing to go the extra mile.
Conclusion: There are many other ways of earning the respect that I may not be able to list here. But in this article, I want to impress one thought: if you are a leader, you can either lead by fear or by respect . Remember, fear is a reaction; as I pointed out, respect comes by choice. When people choose to respect you as a leader is a day that you have earned your leadership.

opportunity to explore and learn according to our interests and excel in that sector. When it comes to selecting the right international school for your child could be an intimidating task.

In the world of international schools, some are run by local faculty and staff, while affluent teachers and administrative staff run others from around the world. This is a prominent advantage as it brings its global perspective to its faculty and staff.
Everyone is familiar with the highs and lows of moving to a new country, and almost everyone is prepared to help students and their families cope with life in a completely new way.
Building an International Alumni Network
Another advantage of studying at an international school is that the more people you meet and places you go, the smaller the world seems to be. This reflects the long-lasting benefit of studying at an international school beyond the diverse experiences and life-changing experiences and the amount of time spent in dynamic classrooms.
In most international schools, students continue their studies in the university within a year of graduating. The Alumni Office of an international
school is a riches with like-minded global citizens, ready to connect with recent graduates over LinkedIn or coffee about their personal and professional aspirations beyond school.
Another additional benefit
Unlock Doors to International Opportunities and Global Citizenship
Studying in an international school comes with another additional perk of its own. With its once-in-a-lifetime experience of studying in an overseas school, it permits students to practice various international sportsmanship and academic classes and regularly engage with students in other international schools for activities like Model United Nations and international competitions like the FIRST Global Challenge in Robotics.
Beyond the activities, it also provides facilities focused on academics, allowing students at international schools to participate in learning programs for both local and abroad schools. Every summer, students from ASP crisscross the globe to teach and learn from their fellow students in different learning environments.
To sum up, As mentioned above, moving internationally might have its share of challenges, but the benefits make it all worth the time and effort required to make a move. It inspires students to revisit a country in the future or propels them into a study and career path they hadn't previously thought of. Students who attend international schools can benefit from all these distinct advantages.
