How to Get Things Done

365 Thank Yous

Losing the Last 5 Kilos

Are you overwhelmed by loose ends and unfinished projects? Do you despair of finding time to concentrate on the bigger picture? This book offers powerful, practical strategies for vastly increasing your organisation, efficiency and creativity – in work and life. Personal productivity expert David Allen shows how to cut through the clutter in your mind, on your desk and on your PC to get a lot more done with a lot less effort.

One recent December, at age 53, John Kralik found his life at a terrible, frightening low. All aspects of his life seemed to be failing: his relationships with his children and partner, his work, his health. Then, hiking on New Year’s Day, John was struck by the thought that his life might become at least tolerable if he could be grateful for what he had.

Lose 5 kilos in 30 days. It sounds straightforward and it is. Losing the Last 5 Kilos gives you all the information you need to get back to your perfect size.

New Parenting by Heart

The Babysense Secret

Bringing a new baby home can be one of the most intimidating experiences of our lives and can fill us with selfdoubt. But in order to nurture our child, parenting expert Pinky McKay says we must maintain our own sense of worth. Pinky's techniques are based on the latest scientific research but always come back to her philosophy that every parent and child is unique, and that parents need to follow their hearts rather than a onesize-fits-all model.

A gentle routine for your baby, trusted by thousands of mums, from bestselling author Megan Faure. The Babysense Secret is based on the simple idea, that by observing your baby, you can determine when he wants to sleep, feed, or interact with you and thereby establish a routine structured around your baby’s needs. This routine will lay the groundwork for a calm and contented first year, ensuring positive early sensory experiences leading to a happier childhood.

The Learning Ladder Our Vision The Learning Ladder vision is to create an easy and fun home environment for learning, because a well-resourced home offers wonderful opportunities for exploration, discovery, play, fun and learning. After all, we are the first and most important teachers of our children, and home is where the most learning takes place! The aim of The Learning Ladder is to help Australian parents to instil a love of learning in their children and create an easy, effective and fun home learning environment.

The Learning Ladder is a wholly owned company of the Pearson Group The Pearson Group is home to many leading publishers including Pearson, Penguin, Dorling Kindersley, Ladybird and Puffin, who are all dedicated to the business of helping children and adults learn.

My Career with The Learning Ladder Senior Sales Leader, Yasemin Maxwell After joining The Learning Ladder four years ago, I fell instantly in love with the gorgeous books, games and puzzles, and wanted them ALL. Starting my own business was an exciting challenge for me, as in the past I had only ever worked as a veterinary nurse and had no selling experience. But now, because of my decision to become an independent businesswoman, I can enjoy the flexibility and convenience of working more family friendly hours, when it suits me. As I started to grow our very own home library, which my two boys love so much, I really started to see that there was more than just lifestyle and amazing rewards and recognition on offer. I soon began to grow my own team of women who share the same passion for this business. The rewards along the way are numerous and I have already received gorgeous flowers, Cerrone jewellery, a huge library of free books, full time income/part time hours, and two International Conferences to incredible destinations such as Tahiti and Buenos Aires. Furthermore, not only do I get to help other families instil a love of learning in their children, but I also get to train, support and encourage other women in growing their very own business, as I learn the skills of becoming a Leader of Leaders.

Finally, and this is most important to my husband and me, I get to be the one to raise our two boys, while running a very successful business - all at the same time. It doesn’t get any better than that!
