This map is assembled at each stop on tour. It includes pictures of the people and places who make up a local food system. Additional “layers” of map show previous stops of tour. NOTE: If weather permits, this can be moved to outside of container.

Located at front of the container, this area contains a shelf of all goods for sale, including, posters, prints, books, DVDs, shirts stickers. A counter slides out from the shelf unit to conduct transaction. The store also hosts HP Aurasma Ipods for viewers to have an interactive experience with the content. An area for sharing, painting parties, workshops, and other activities. This is where “data gleaning” (gathering of information) takes place.

SCROLLING IMAGE WALL
This wall has ten “sections”. Each 15 ft. long section tells a story about an aspect of our food system. It includes a mix of information artworks and text blocks. Visitors can use the HP Aurasma Ipods to have an interactive experience with the content. The panels are timed to move from one “section” to the next every 90 seconds, allowing viewers to complete the experience in 15 minutes.
VIDEO MOOD WALL / THEATER
Two full size video screens take up the entire back wall of the container. These show a never ending collage of different images and detail shots from the information artworks. The space can also be converted into a screening room. Benches can be placed in front of the screen and viewers can watch either episodes from Know Your Food or specific regionally focused content.
