Dear Neighbours, Welcome to the October edition of your Tuffley Link. This month we are celebrating, we have been publishing our sister directory, the Abbey-Link for 14 years this month. So we would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone that has made this possible; our customers, distributors and yourselves the readers for putting your trust in us and using the local businesses that advertise with us. With the clocks going back later this month and the nights now pulling in, it’ won’t be long before our thoughts start to turn towards the ‘C’ word! Yes Christmas…. So if you are thinking you need to loose a few of those Summer holiday pounds before thinking about getting into those Christmas party dresses - Slimming World have many classes in the area - see their advert on page 11 for more details. Also with Autumn on the horizon, why not use this month to get your boilers serviced before having to turn them on for the Winter months! They were forced to form a family ten years ago but maintaining it might be a lot harder.

31 October 2019 Doctor Sleep Starring – Ewan McGregor, Rebecca Ferguson, Kyliegh Curran, Bruce Greenwood Doctor Sleep continues the story of Danny Torrance, 40 years after his terrifying stay at the Overlook Hotel in The Shining. Adapted from the book of the same name by Stephen King, Danny’s life has been scarred by trauma after the events of The Shining, and has fought to for some form of peace. But that peace is shattered when he encounters young teenager Abra, who shows signs of a powerful extrasensory gift known as “The Shine,” and has to fight against a group of fanatics who feed off the shine of innocents in their quest for immortality.
