IN THE BEGINNING W hen an elegant, colonial style villa, constructed by Cesare Garsin was built, in 1887, it stood alone on the outskirts of Naxxar, surrounded by countryside, looking away over to the sea. It stood in the middle of a beautiful garden and its interiors displayed the elegance of the age,and befitted the Garsin family,who lived in it for many generations.In the 20th century,1986 to be exact, it was,acquired by the late Mr Ralph Arrigoand became known as Villa Arrigo.

San Pawl tat-Targa has grown up nearby but the villa still stands out in its verdant landscape. It has lost none of its presence. Its magnificent hallways and rooms have kept their rare combination of both elegance and great charm. The garden spreads around revealing terraces, planted areas, lawns, a picturesque avenue and secret hideaways, all accented to create something quite enchanting.

Which is why now, in the 21st century Villa Arrigo has held its position as one of the most popular venues for weddings for over three decades.
