Sign up for your cocktail Signature cocktails have become an extremely popular way for couples to express their individual personalities during their wedding celebrations hatever fun and fantasy role they play, choosing the inspiration for your cocktails and getting the right blend of ingredients is vital. There are companies which actually assist couples in choosing their signature cocktails. But it would be much more fun and personal to do it yourself, in consultation with your cocktail barman. And what could your signature cocktail say about you? It may reflect your interests, work maybe, even dreams and ambitions since starting a new life together is the perfect time to highlight all these.

Or it may simply be designed to use colours and decorations that complement your wedding theme and décor. Your chosen recipe also may refer to the time of year when the wedding takes place, or the venue where it is held. It could represent where each of you comes from, or special events you have already shared. And you'll have to decide what's in the name of your unique drink. Combinations of your names, nick-names, pet's name, job titles, favourite places; there can be endless ideas to inspire its title. And while you're concocting some delicious ideas, here are a few dark and delicious samples to enjoy.

METHOD – Shake all ingredients. Pour over cubed ice. Stir and serve. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

METHOD – Shake all ingredients and pour over cubed ice. Garnish with popcorn.

METHOD – Drop mint into shaker. Add all ingredients apart from sparkling water. Shake then pour over cubed or crushed ice. Stir and top with dash of sparkling water. Garnish with mint leaf.

METHOD – Shake all ingredients and pour into glass. Top with foam and garnish with salted fudge/a single cherry. To make the foam – Mix 100ml salted caramel or Morello cherry syrup with 200ml water and 2 egg whites. Use two cream chargers.
