But what attracts millions of tourists to this jewel of the Caribbean crown every year is the mesmerizing land that covers around 70 miles, where every beach is as unique as the island itself! If you’re planning to visit this sunshine-filled country, here’s a list of beaches you need to visit: 1. Carlisle Bay, Barbados: Carlisle Bay, Barbados is an ideal location for water adventuring activities such as scuba diving and snorkeling. Dave Dunlop of the Maritime Explorer says the ships resting in Carlisle Bay have created an ideal condition for the growth of corals and artificial reefs. Some of these ships were sank deliberately and some accidentally. Regardless, they are now home to marine animals like triggerfish, sergeant majors, snappers, trumpet fish, and a few dozen more varieties of fish.
