Don’t miss the June 30th Deadline! Broker In Charge license will need four core hours, four BIC-specific hours and two elective hours. All other real estate licensees will need four core and six elective hours.
All South Carolina real estate licensees must complete 8 hours of continuing education once every two years, prior to midnight on June 30th. Of the eight hours, at least four hours must be the mandatory core course, and the remaining four may by any LLR - Real Estate Commission approved elective you choose. All of our continuing education courses are approved by the Real Estate Commission and count for your required 8 hours of continuing education. While the license law changed effective 1/1/17, the Real Estate Commission has chosen to delay implementation of the changes in the continuing education requirements until the 2018 renewal cycle. AT THAT TIME, licensees who renew in 2018 and beyond will have to complete ten (10) hours of continuing education every two years. Those licensees who hold a

TRID Safely in a Flood of Disclosures: This four hour course meets the requirements for the mandatory core course from 2016-2018 and covers the complexities of the new disclosures and forms required in real estate closings. Students will be able to explain the rules to buyers and sellers regarding the impact the rules will have on their real estate transactions. Students will also become aware of resources to assist buyers and sellers in understanding the TRID rules and process. COUNTS FOR CORE CREDIT.
