UTD’s free shuttle service, route 883, provides easy access to students for all essential shopping. Here are some tips on how to get around to get around to the nearest grocery stores, dining spots and more, organized by the stops you’ll need to get off at. BUSH TURNPIKE STATION Fry’s - Cross under the expressway to the other side of the road and circle the rear of the building to enter Fry’s Electronics. Remember to save your receipt at Fry’s- they check for it when you exit. HOME DEPOT STOP Wells Fargo Bank and Tom Thumb- Cross LakePark and walk to Tom Thumb. Get yourself a reward card on your first visit to be
eligible for card discounts. Check out the bakery while you are there. The Wells Fargo Bank is located right next to Tom Thumb’s customer service counter, if you’re looking for an ATM machine or to open an account. La Madeline - About two minutes away from the bus stop across from Tom Thumb, this is the quintessential French-style breakfast cafeteria. So if you’ve been up all night studying and need to get the perfect wholesome meal, make sure to stop by La Madeline for your choice of French toast, omelets and English muffins, among others. Ross - Discounted fashion and home decor are within easy access in the complex opposite this bus stop. Kirkland’s - For good housewarming presents, don’t forget to stop by Kirkland’s on the corner of
