ALLSTARS UNITE FOR CHARITY THIS WEEKEND This Sunday (23rd March) is a date for your diary with Events FC offering the opportunity to come and support Cathedral Archer Project at “Chris Waddle’s All Star Charity Football Match”. Held at Hallam FC Football Ground, the day shall see three unique games take place at 30 minutes a time, with some of Sheffield’s finest locals going head to head against a team of retired professionals and special surprise players. The day doesn’t end there, with the chance to get involved through
cross bar challenges, raffle prizes a full licensed bar. Events FC originally approached Hallam FC with the vision of a standard 90 minute business match, acting as a networking session for local companies. Since Chris Waddle has come on board though, the event has escalated into what we see on Sunday. His support and dedication in recruiting his team and assisting in advertisement has been incredible. Not only has the “Chris Waddle All Star Charity Football Match” event title increased ticket sales
dramatically; he has increased the Cathedral Archer Project publicity throughout Sheffield. Both Events FC and CAP are extremely grateful for all of the assistance Chris has given. Chris’ All Star Team on the day includes: David Hirst, John Sheridan, Darren Sheridan, Carlton Palmer, Julian Watts, David Holdsworth, John Beresford ,Mark Crossley and Front Man of Reverend and the Makers, Jon McClure. Another team competing on the day are the Hallam FC All Stars with an impressive selection of rivalry with retired
players including Sheffield Wednesday star Lee Bullen and championship boxer Adam Etches. Hallam FC All Stars promise to give their opposition a run for their money on the pitch! You can get in touch for ticket information by emailing sheffield-
charityfootball@gmail. com, or following us on twitter @EventsFC for regular updates. Please note, tickets are £5 per person (£2 per child) and 100% of the event profits are donated to this fantastic cause. Get involved and help Events FC “bring communities together, one goal at a time.”
