Former CIU Artist of the Year, Chelsea Radford, Releases New Single On World Kindness Day especially on days that are challenging; ‘It’s okay not to be the best of you, It’s alright if you cry and you can’t pull through.” “When I first heard It’s Okay, I immediately felt an emotional connection with the lyrics and knew that my listeners would resonate with the track,” commented Chelsea. “I’d consider myself fairly private – beyond what I choose to share on socials about my music – so it isn’t common knowledge that I struggle with anxiety. People may think that - because I sing in front of large audiences – I am confident; but it’s true that we only share our best selves online.” Radford continued, “So, no matter how people may seem on the surface, you
just don’t know what they might be going through emotionally and mentally. It’s Okay is uplifting and offers positivity to those who need a reminder to be kind to themselves, especially on tough days; we all have hard days, we all hurt sometimes, we all cry some days, and It’s Okay to embrace those emotions because that’s what makes us human. ” Chelsea embarked on her musical career at the age of 16 and has since risen to popularity on the celebrity circuit, having toured with Mike Tyson, and performed at Meet and Greet events for: Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Ricky Hatton, Paul Gascoigne, Tim Witherspoon, Joe Calzaghe, Roberto Duran, Adrian Morley, and Connor
McGregor. Furthermore, Chelsea has performed at the Leeds Variety Club alongside Billy Pearce, Joe Longthorne MBE, and The Drifters, and has recently recorded two cover songs with full live backing band in Nashville, Tennessee with Dolly Parton’s backing singers. It’s Okay was penned by chart-topping singer/songwriter Biddy Ronelle, International Female Songwriter Finalist - ISSA Awards 2020, and top ten singer/ songwriter David Tattersall, who have both recently released charity single Let The Music

USEFUL NUMBERS
News, Information and Advice lockdown starts this thursday England will enter a full lockdown on Thursday November 5 if approved by MPs on Wednesday. The measures will be introduced at 00:01 GMT on Thursday and remain in place until Wednesday 2 December. Councillor Julie Dore, Leader of Sheffield City Council said: “This is a difficult situation for us all to be in but this new restriction is now much needed if we are to save lives and reduce the COVID infection rate in our city. There has been a huge amount of work taking place across the city to help those affected and we will continue to do everything we can as a council, working together with our partners, to help you all through this. We must all play our part to save lives and livelihoods. We know how hard this will be for people and be assured that we will be speaking with the government to make sure that we get the financial support promised for our city. We’ll also continue protecting the vulnerable and checking on those who need extra support to cope with the current situation. We have a community helpline for those who need help with tasks such as shopping, medication and social contact on 0114 273 4567. We can do this. We brought our infection rates down in March and we can do it again. We’ve got to hold our nerve and follow the rules. This has by a long way not been a normal year but if we can all do things right for the next month, we can hope for a Christmas that could be a little closer to normal for us all. I understand how frustrating and confusing these frequent changes in restrictions are for businesses – especially given the lack of detail about accompanying support packages. We have seen the recent support packages announced by government today and are awaiting further details to be able to open the schemes for application as soon as possible. I’d like to thank businesses for their hard work and efforts, to keep your businesses afloat and your staff employed under such difficult circumstances. The Council will be on hand to support you through this next challenging period.”” The restrictions will mean that: • People will be told to stay at home except for education, work (if it can’t be done from home), exercise and recreation, medical reasons, shopping for food and other essentials, or to care for others. • Households will not be allowed to mix with others indoors, or in private gardens. Individuals can meet one person from outside their household in an outside public space. Outdoor exercise and recreation will be allowed, but gyms will have to close, along with pubs and restaurants. • Takeaways and deliveries can continue but all non-essential shops will have to close. Schools, nurseries, colleges and universities will remain open. • Support bubbles for people who live alone and households made up of single parents and children can continue. Children will be able to move between homes if their parents are separated. • Hotels will only open for people who have to travel for work. Weddings and civil partnership ceremonies will not be allowed, apart from exceptional circumstances. • Places of worship will generally close but funerals, with a maximum of 30 people attending will be allowed. Workplaces will be asked to stay open if people cannot work from home, including construction and manufacturing. The Government are advising those who are extremely vulnerable not to go to work if they are unable to work from home. Face masks must be worn on all public transport and people cannot car share with someone from outside
their household or their support bubble unless they can practise social distancing. People who need to use public transport should follow the safer travel guidance. Businesses wishing to stay informed with the latest updates, should sign up to Sheffield City Council’s email alert service and follow Business Sheffield and Sheffield City Council’s social media channels. Guidance for businesses is also available on the Sheffield City Council website www.sheffield.gov.uk/coronavirus-business. Our Business Sheffield Advisors are also on hand to offer advice. Contact them by calling 0114 224 5000 or via email at businesssheffield@sheffield.gov.uk. Information about support payments for those who are told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace is here: https://sheffnews.com/news/test-and-tracesupport-payments-for-residents After 2 December, the Government expect different regions to return to the tiers system, depending upon the rates of infection.

Graham Duxbury, National Chief Executive of Groundwork UK, adds: “We are pleased that the Comic Relief Covid-19 Community Fund (England) is making a difference to those in need and helping to support vulnerable communities at this uncertain time.” For more information about the St Vincent de Paul Society visit www.svp.org.uk, @ SVPEnglandWales, or telephone 020 7703 3030. Alternatively, visit www.svpfurniturestoresheffield.org.uk for more information on St Vincent’s, Sheffield community support centre. A case in point: “It’s not just a table and chairs” A family who moved into unfurnished rented accommodation had no money to buy the essential items they needed to turn the empty space into a home. The St Vincent de Paul Society in Sheffield provided the furniture they desperately needed. Since the furniture was delivered, things within the home dramatically improved. The children now have a space to sit and complete school work without distraction, and their behaviour has also improved simply by having somewhere to sit together and eat meals as a family. This has led to family conversations with everyone talking about their day. The mother of the family said: “It’s not just a table and chairs, it’s the time we spend together around it.” The St Vincent de Paul Society is an international volunteering organisation dedicated to providing practical assistance to those in need, irrespective of ideology, faith, ethnicity, age or gender. Founded in 1833, it now has 800,000 volunteers operating in 150 countries worldwide, including 10,000 in England and Wales.

BLADES SLIP TO NARROW DEFEAT TO CITIZENS
United produced another spirited performance but slipped to a narrow loss against Manchester City at Bramall Lane. And it was a former Blade who inflicted the defeat on Chris Wilder’s side, as Kyle Walker’s first-half strike proved decisive for Pep Guardiola’s side. For the clash against the Citizens, Wilder made just one change, with the fit-again Lowe replacing Lundstram, who dropped to the bench. Brewster was handed his full home debut. After a quiet opening, Ramsdale was called into action on eight minutes to deny Torres with a header from Cancelo’s cross, before Ampadu produced a timely block to halt Sterling’s shot in the second phase. The visitors were enjoying plenty of the ball, but United were standing firm and making life difficult in tight areas, although Egan had to be alert to Sterling’s run.
Missing the cutting edge - MONK
From the resulting corner, Laporte fired wide at the near post. United went forward and Lowe seized on a misplaced pass from Rodri, before City broke and Egan made a vital interception to divert De Bruyne’s pass to Sterling back to Ramsdale. The United stopper was then called into more serious action as he managed to save a dipping effort from Rodri at the expense of a corner. City continued to press forward and Ramsdale produced his best save of the game on 23 minutes, a superb reflex block to deny Torres from close-range, before Mahrez blazed over from a promising position from Cancelo’s cross. But Ramsdale was powerless to stop City taking the lead five minutes later, Sterling advanced at pace, before De Bruyne found WALKER who fired low and hard into the bottom corner. Ten minutes before the break, United won two corners in quick succession. From the first, Basham almost headed home at the back post from Berge’s delivery, only for Walker to deflect his goal bound header wide. Then, in United’s next attack Brewster just failed to make a clean contact with a header from another delivery from Berge. But at the other end, City produced a slick break and only a crucial block from a retreating Stevens denied Torres from Cancelo’s deep cross. The second half began at a decent pace, United were positive, whilst City looked a threat on the break, Ramsdale denied Torres again, but the assistant referee raised his flag after the save had been made. Walker than burst to the byline, just about kept the ball in and from the pull back, De Bruyne fired wide of the far post. As the hour mark approached, Ramsdale and United stood firm, this time the stopper denying Mahrez with a low free kick from a dangerous position after Stevens was harshly adjudged to have fouled De Bruyne. In response, the Blades built and threatened down the right, but a combination of Walker and Rodri cleared the danger from Berge’s looping centre.
win the game. I couldn’t have asked anything more from the players but we are not getting the rub of the green at the moment. “I take the responsibility, I have no problem with that. I will keep giving everything I have to get us out of this run of results. It’s not good enough for a club like Sheffield Wednesday. “But we are together, the boys are together and you can see that with what has just been said in the changing room.”
Garry Monk pointed to a lack of cutting edge as the Owls slumped to a fourth successive defeat at Wycombe on Saturday. David Wheeler scored the only goal of the game seconds before the half time whistle and although Wednesday asked almost all of the questions after the break, the hosts held firm to take victory. Monk said: “The players gave everything today, they worked and battled. It’s not running for us at the moment, we are missing that cutting edge. “We’ve had all the possession in the second half but just couldn’t find that way through. “I thought if we got one we’d have gone on to

With 25 minutes remaining, Norwood took the place of Ampadu and following another period of possession down the right, Berge got the better of Cancelo, but Dias had luck on his side as his attempted clearance landed in the hands of Ederson. Five minutes later, United fashioned their best chance of the game, Berge again was instrumental powering down the right and beating Cancelo, but Lundstram fired his effort narrowly too high from the edge of the box. Brewster found himself in the clear but was denied by Ederson, before the assistant referee flagged for offside. City then enjoyed a couple of chances, mainly through De Bruyne and Sterling, although Egan and Ramsdale again managed to snuff out the danger. As the minutes ticked by, McGoldrick replaced Lowe in another positive switch. Ramsdale again stood
tall as Silva danced into the box, to keep United in contention, before heading clear as Sterling looked to latch onto Ederson’s punt forward. Three minutes of added time were signalled by the fourth official, but despite pushing bodies forward, the ball just wouldn’t drop United’s way in the final third. Blades: Ramsdale, Baldock, Stevens, Basham, Berge, McBurnie, Egan, Lowe (McGoldrick 81), Ampadu (Norwood 65), Osborn (Lundstram 55), Brewster. Unused: Sharp, Burke, Robinson, Verrips. Unique partnership for Blades & SHU Sheffield United are delighted to announce a global partnership with Sheffield Hallam University. This partnership is the first of its kind within the city and will see Sheffield Hallam University and the football club collaboratively working together to harness the positive power of sport to improve population health, whilst offering unique internship opportunities within elite level sport. Sheffield Hallam University is of the UK’s largest and most diverse universities. They have an incredibly strong reputation for being a progressive institution with both quality and innovative teaching. The partnership provides Sheffield Hallam with a strong matchday presence, alongside working on a local level and proudly branding the jerseys of all SUFC Womens Regional Training Centre teams including the girls’ youth team. Liam Robinson, United’s commercial key account manager, said: “The club are incredibly happy to get this partnership over the line, which will provide a vehicle for both brands to increase their presence in key territories around the world. We are excited to work with the team at SHU throughout this season and beyond.” Deputy vice-chancellor at Sheffield Hallam University, Richard Calvert, said: “Our vision is to become the world’s leading applied university, and I am delighted that we are able to build on our already strong relationship with Sheffield United to create further placement and employment opportunities so that our students can apply their knowledge and make a real impact.” “Recent research by the University has shown that £1 spent on community sport and physical activity generates nearly £4 for England’s economy and society, so it is fantastic that we are now able to support the game at grassroots level through sponsoring the girls’ youth team.” Make sure to look out for collaborative content throughout the season. Further details of Sheffield Hallam University, their courses, and other activities can be found here: www.shu.ac.uk
Keep our spirits high Joe Wildsmith was pleased to be handed a starting shirt last time out and will continue to work hard to keep it. The Wycombe clash was Wildsmith’s first league start since July and, although disappointed with the result, the keeper was pleased to be back out on the pitch for Wednesday. The 24-year-old is likely to retain his place in the side for the visit of promotion-hopefuls Bournemouth on Tuesday night. The Cherries have made a good start to life back at this level after dropping out of the Premier League last season and sit third in the table. “It was good to play,” Wildsmith said. “Obviously it’s been disappointing not to start this season because that’s what you want to do, play games “But I feel I’m working hard, day in, day out in training and have just been ready for that opportunity – it felt good to be back out there and help the boys. “The results wasn’t great, that final ball, that last bit of quality let us down a bit. But personally yes, it was great to be back out there and put on that shirt. “Bournemouth have got a lot of quality, they’ve come down from the Premier League and have got some good players there. We need to go out there and show what we’ve got.” One thing clear from the start of the season is the high spirits behind the scenes in the Owls camp. And Wildsmith insists that, despite four defeats on the bounce, those feelings are still very much prevalent at Middlewood Road. “We need a good result to get us going and that will naturally lift spirits even higher. “Everyone is upbeat, we’re not taking it to heart, we know the situation that we’re in. We understand how important it is to put points on the board. “We’ve definitely got it in us, we don’t take any negativity from the results, we have to stay positive and we can only affect the next game. “We go again on Tuesday night and we’ll give it our best shot, we have quality to beat anyone on our day so, I think it will be a good game and hopefully we’ll get a good result.”

Moore: There wasn’t much between the teams
Darren Moore thought that his side’s 1-0 win against Lincoln City was an excellent advert for football in Sky Bet League One. A tight game was decided a moment of brilliance from captain Ben Whiteman who buried the ball in the right corner of Lincoln’s goal. Moore said: “We knew it was going to be tight game today. I don’t think there was anything between both teams today. It was an excellent advert for League One football. Both teams played their part in what was a good game. “It was a great goal to win the game and came from a great move. It was always going to be something special to win the game because Lincoln possess a really strong defensive record. So we knew we had to be really good going forward. “In terms of football played at this level I am really pleased with the work that we did off the ball but certainly the work on the ball was good. We asked Lincoln plenty of questions and that has helped us get a valuable set of three points in a really tight game today.” After shaking up his back line ahead of the visit of the Imps, Darren Moore was full of praise for his side’s defensive work which earnt them their second clean sheet of the season. He added: “We defended as a team. It was a collective effort and when I think of the work ethic of the attacking players to track back and defend, it shows it was a real team effort. “Tactically I knew it would be a tight game and I knew the balance of the team had to be right. Joe can play at right back and he gave us an out ball when we were in possession and he was defensively solid. “Danny has waited for this opportunity and thought with his quality at left back if we can get him free down the left-hand side that he’d cause problems. Cameron John is a natural left footer and the reshuffle came from Madger Gomes narrowly missing out. These things we work on in training and they aren’t just thrown on the players overnight.”

The EFL notes the difficult decision taken by the Government in respect of the implementation of a‘national lockdown’ in England from Thursday 5 November 2020 in response to the rising cases of COVID-19. During this next phase it has been confirmed to the League by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) that elite sport will be able to continue and EFL competitions will therefore remain as currently scheduled (in both England and Wales). Professional football has implemented some of the most stringent, robust and regularly reviewed protocols since the restart in June 2020 and our medical experts’ advice remains in place to fully adhere to these measures which are specifically designed to mitigate against the spread of the virus. The health, safety and well-being of players and Club staff throughout the pandemic has been our first priority and this will continue as we enter this next period of lockdown and beyond. In addition, we acknowledge the Government’s national efforts in tackling this outbreak and would hope that during this next phase of the crisis, our national sport, negatively affected by COVID-19 like many other industries, can continue to provide some form of welcome distraction and give people in our communities up and down the country a sense of normality in very challenging times.
Whiteman delighted with win over Lincoln
Ben Whiteman says the Rovers dressing room were delighted with the 1-0 victory over Lincoln City. The skipper fired his side to victory in Sky Bet League One with a brilliant volley, and says it was reward for a solid team display. He said: “ The lads are over the moon with the victory, everybody played their part in a really good win which is pleasing. “The back four were outstanding, we knew Lincoln are a good team and they would have spells in possession so it was about us being resolute. “Some teams come to play and others to nullify us, it was a great game of football and both teams passed the ball well.” Whiteman explained how Rovers have been going about their business and trying to generate their own motivation while games are being held behind closed doors. He added: “The season has been strange so far, training is different o what we’re used to and that’s something we have to get used to. “We’ve all said that it isn’t the same without the fans here, all we can do is keep doing the business until they’re back with us. “You’ve got to try and create your own atmosphere, it’s hard but it’s something you have to do when things aren’t going your way.”
I can’t fault the effort – Warne
Rotherham United manager Paul Warne said he couldn’t fault the work ethic of his side, following their 1-0 defeat to Stoke City at bet365 Stadium this afternoon. A game of few chances was won by the hosts midway through the first half, when James McClean raced on to Angus Gunn’s long kick to lob the ball over Jamal Blackman. The Millers worked hard to force their way back into the game but ultimately couldn’t find the equalising goal, as they fell to their second away loss of the 2020/21 campaign. “I can’t fault the effort from the boys, I thought we were okay between both boxes, but didn’t create enough in the final third,” Warne explained. “They just looked a little bit sharper than us today, I don’t think my goalkeeper had a shot to save so we’re disappointed not to get anything from the game. “We came here to try and win so it is disappointing we left with nothing, but I think it shows far we’ve come that we’re disappointed we didn’t get a result here. “We conceded a goal similar to that at Reading, so I think it is something we have to work on, overall I thought we defended well aside from that, however we didn’t create enough going forward.” Millers midfielder Shaun MacDonald was forced off after picking up a knock early in the second half and Warne says the Welshman will undergo a scan on Monday to determine the extent of the injury. “Shaun MacDonald is of the Richard Wood mantle where he doesn’t go down easily or if there isn’t a problem. “He wanted to play on but as he was walking off his knee had started to swell up, he’ll have a scan on Monday and hopefully he’ll be okay because he’s an important player for us,” Warne said.
