to the New Year and a New Season at The Met!

2005 was a great year for The Met with refurbishment of our public spaces and a record breaking number of sell out events. In 2006 we continue with an irresistible programme of live performance that will thrill and excite through spring and summer. With the support of Arts Council England, we have increased our theatre programme, bringing you the best of national and international touring fringe theatre companies offering a great range of physical, visual and contemporary performances. To experience some great stories creatively told, be sure to take advantage of our new block-booking offer below. We have a number of awesome world music events this season, with the rousing Swåp at the end of February and the global sensation, Salsa Celtica in March. Both of these events are likely to lift the roof, so be sure to get a ticket. Likewise make sure you don’t miss out on award winning folk artists such as Eliza Carthy, Seth Lakeman, June Tabor and Bellowhead, as these events are certain to sell out. To make the most of our programme, have a look at our website and register for our new email newsletter which will contain monthly special offers and discounts, as well as the latest news and events as we book them.
