WELCOME TO THE MET There’s plenty to get excited about this season. The programme goes from strength to strength and continues to offer the very best in touring theatre music and comedy. Our ability to take risks and develop new audiences and artists is important to us and is made possible through the support of partners and audiences. Our funding from Bury Council and Arts Council England means the future of The Met is secured and we can try new things – we just ask that you join us for some of them. Coming up in the summer months we have our regular R 0161 761 2216

comedy nights in Bury and Ramsbottom, the very best of folk and acoustic music and a regular high quality programme for children and their families. Those of you who missed Swamp Juice last year must make it for Slapdash Galaxy on 19 June. It’s too good an opportunity to miss! We’ve travelled far and wide for the shows this season – to festivals and events in Glasgow, London, Edinburgh and Toronto – we hope you can make it to enjoy some memorable nights with us.
