FRIDAY 14 SATURDAY 15 SUNDAY 16 SEPTEMBER
2012
programme
WELCOME Thanks for buying a ticket and supporting the second ramsbottom festival! So, now you’re here, what do you do?
The FESTIVAL SHOP is the place to go to buy festival T-Shirts, and CDs by the weekend’s artists. Have a question about the event? Just ask our helpful staff. This is also the central meet up place for lost children and items. On twitter? Follow @rammyfestival for updates throughout the weekend and use hashtag #rammyfestival for your own tweets. We’re really looking forward to reading your comments. We hope you have a wonderful weekend!
The site has three stages. The MAIN STAGE features the stars of the festival; the LADYBIRD STAGE (shaped as the name
suggests) showcases great up-and-coming artists, and is home to our silent disco (where you dance along to great DJs wearing headphones); and the A&L STAGE (presented by Ramsbottom’s own music shop A&L Music) showcases the cream of the local scene, as well as our music workshops. Running times are opposite. Please make sure you arrive in plenty of time to see acts as stage times may change without notice. The FOOD VILLAGE features a range of mouthwatering treats. Enjoy gorgeous Thai and Cantonese cooking with Ramsbottom’s Buddha Lounge; scale the heights of Himalayan cuisine at the Tibetan Kitchen; sample authentic Spanish street food from Las Paelleras; taste the luxurious flavours of Holden’s Ice Cream; drink rich Italian Lavazza coffee with the Coffee Carriage; or dig into some hearty British grub cooked up by the Eagle and Child pub. It wouldn’t be a festival without a Beer Tent, and we’ve got two! Pop into our
RAMSBOTTOM FESTIVAL BAR
for lagers, ciders, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Or you can visit the IRWELL WORKS REAL ALE TENT to sample the products of Ramsbottom’s own award-winning brewery, including our specially brewed Ramsbottom Festival Ale. Please drink responsibly!
