House Hunting for a Multi-Family in West Hartford

Gary was looking to purchase a new home when he reached out to Cynthia Burke, his agent and friend. Gary and Cynthia have worked together on many transactions, totaling five properties altogether. When Gary came to Cynthia with the project of finding a duplex in West Hartford, Cynthia was ready to tackle the challenge with enthusiasm:

"I’ve worked with Cynthia for quite some time," Gary said, "So fortunately, we’re very comfortable and we know each other well. She knows what I’m looking for and it was a situation where considering how hot this market is, I saw something quickly and I sent it to her. I trusted her to be able to move quickly on things."

From finding the right properties to neogiating deals, Gary trusts Cynthia to handle the transactions with ease and expertise. He was able to snag a property early and under asking price, which for any property in West Hartford is a "unicorn in and of itself," he joked.

Gary and Cynthia will also make their HGTV debut soon, as the house that he recently purchased will be featured on an upcoming episode of the popular HGTV show, House Hunters. As a reporter for ESPN SportsCenter, Gary is no stranger to the camera, and he enjoyed sharing the moment with his favorite realtor: "Cynthia and I are making our HGTV debut together. It's a new experience, and Cynthia enjoyed her time on the program." Today, Gary is enjoying his new property, which he is currently renovating. After moving from a single family home, he hopes to turn the brick side-by side house into not only his home, but an investment property as well:

"I have a couple of investment properties that Cynthia has helped me with. It’s just another project for me to kind of dive into and gives me the ability to diversity my portfolio while getting into a multifamily in West Hartford."
