The Missing Slate

The Missing Slate serves as a vehicle for all forms of art—visual and literary—with intent to uphold free speech. We honor talent in all its forms and try to incorporate as many styles and cultures as possible. If art can't be quantified, it can't be mapped either. We are not deluding ourselves into thinking we know all there is to know about both crafts, which is why we’ll often include essays and interviews from established artists and writers. The average age of the team is 26, but age is just a number and at a time where information is freely available, we believe setting a benchmark for quality is imperative. There may be opinions you won’t always agree with, but the debate is open and you’re free to tell us what you think. We accidentally deleted our first 11 issues after gathering over 50,000 impressions (idiotic, we know!)
